Dr. Donna is a knowledgeable, excellent practitioner and significantly helped me with my sciatica and anxiety. I can't recommend her highly enough. The Center also offers massage. I have tried several massages in the area, and nothing compares to their massage therapists. I had the best massage I've had in 40 years, and I can't wait until my next one.

WellCome OM, which actually has more than one moniker attached to it besides integral center but…read morealso hollistic center, is a very unique space located in Spring Hill. Serving as a place for wellness and wholeness, they have spa-like services, a garden, workout areas, and a cafe. Though I did not get to explore all of WellCome OM (which I will shorthand to OM for the remainder of the review), what I did discern and experience left a very hollistically positive impact on me. First and foremost, I must stress I would have never found this place if it weren't for the fact it is one of the featured locations in Hernando County through their Mermaid Tale Trail. I was searching for the mermaid statues throughout the county, and OM so happens to have one of them in their garden titled "Ila." Upon arriving, I noticed OM is kind of shaped like an eye, as in the central hub is an eye and everything comes off of that. I only got to explore the outside parts of OM, specifically the garden as I was searching for the mermaid, and the cafe and workout space. Startig with the garden, it occupies the northwest part of OM. The garden grows plants and flowers of many kinds, but also has an actual garden growing food. There also seems to be a "kid's area" that includes a stage for outdoor shows of some kind. Personally, I loved how some of the outdoors decor plays on the folklore of woodland creatures living among us. Ila, the mermaid statue that is part of the Mermaid Tale Trail, has moved a bit and is no longer up front and center like she used to be. Instead, she is in the back of the garden (specifically the north part of OM) near the children's stage. After logging in Ila, I checked out the cafe which also included an open space which seemed to be a simple workout space for more fluid exercise routines. Think of yoga and Tai Chi. I observed the yoga patrons for a short bit, but I did not join as I already put in my weightlifting session at Planet Fitness. Food was served at The Cafe of Om. Everything they had seemed to be organic with health options. It also looked as if there were no meat products whatsoever. Ergo, they used meat substitutions. Still, the food they served was good and I enjoyed it. Overall, my first time at Om was a wonderful experience. I wish I spend more time, but I only had so much before I met up with family. However, my sister lives in Spring Hill so I will definitely be back around to experience more of what Om has to offer. And if they are consistent, Om will get its consistency star in their updated review, too.

I also understand that many people don't seek help because of a real or imagined social stigma to doing so. However, I believe it's important for all of us to share reliable resources that may be helpful to others in need of emotional healing or support. I chose the Holistic Mental Health Clinic as a resource for emotional healing, particularly in the area of post-traumatic stress. I was hesitant to make an appointment anywhere, and I am fortunate that I chose this clinic. The clinic provides a professional and safe environment in a medium-sized office building located in St Peterburg, Florida. It is located in a partly-residential area of the city on a main street where parking is not a problem. There is a dedicated parking lot next to the building that offers free parking. My experience at this clinic was rewarding. My counselor, Lynn, was very professional, intelligent, capable, thorough, and caring. I found Lynn to be reliable, dependable, well-grounded, and honest at all times. Lynn added professional guidance and value to my healing process and she taught me coping skills that were proven, balanced and effective. Lynn was never judgmental. She always had my best interests as her primary objective. Lynn never promised unrealistic expectations, and she skillfully facilitated my healing process emotionally, physically, and spiritually by offering insightful and proven strategies that I could adapt to my lifestyle. Although Lynn was an essential part of my healing process for whom I will always be extremely grateful, the professional relationship we had between us was based on self-empowerment and mutual cooperation, not dependence. She presented opportunities for healing and learning, but never encouraged me to do more than I was comfortable doing. She identified challenge areas that I had not seen, and gently but confidently encouraged me to push through areas of discomfort and challenge myself when I felt ready. As far as my expectations as to outcome, Lynn created mutually agreed upon goals for my sessions, clarifying both health-related and cost-related expectations. She never cut my sessions short. All my expectations were either met to my satisfaction or exceeded. My health insurance does not cover counseling, but my overall spiritual, emotional and physical well-being is something that I value and I juggled my budget to afford this investment in myself. I have never regretted that I did so and the results I experienced were both impressive and have been on-going. The clinic was at all times transparent in its billing practices, accepted credit cards as payment, and accommodated my scheduling and budget concerns to the extent it could do so. Like many professional organizations that are entirely service-based for individuals, this clinic similarly charges for "no show" appointments. I never had the impression that fees were more important than my well-being. I recommend this clinic for anyone experiencing a mental health challenge and I encourage you to set up an initial consultation. However, whether it will be a good fit for you -- or right for you at this time in your life -- is something you and someone at the clinic will need to determine (you should ask what the rate for an initial consultation would be in advance ). So I signed in at 10:00 and as a receptionist for the forms that I need to fill out that is why I'm early she knew nothing about it. So I sat there for a half hour the doctor called me into the back room to start working on my back and then asked where's the paperwork? I laughed and told him that's why I came here early like you told me to fill it out the receptionist did not give it to me so we came back with the paperwork and asked me to go into the other room while he used that room for another patient what a set of balls. I just ended up walking out wasn't dealing with this craziness. He could be a great acupuncture but terrible bedside manners.

The previous review by Lisa is hogwash and it saddens me to read her words about a phone call - she never received the recommended treatment because the office hours didn't fit her schedule. The Kim's do not deserve such disparaging remarks. If you need acupuncture and are lucky enough to get an appointment, your life will be blessed with the experience.
