When you start reading reviews for IVF clinics--especially larger ones like Boston IVF--you'll see…read moreeverything from glowing five stars to stories of heartbreak. After going through it myself, I've learned that it's not really about the clinic itself. It's 100% about the team you work with. And if you're lucky enough to work with Dr. Emily Seidler and her incredible team then you've found the gold standard. We had a really difficult start at Boston IVF and came close to switching clinics entirely. The care we first received was impersonal and left us feeling completely lost. At first, we thought we could tolerate that if it got results--but over time, we realized our specific needs, questions, and goals weren't even being considered. The doctor was focused on what they assumed we wanted, rather than actually listening and working with us to maximize our outcomes. And then we met Dr. Seidler--and everything changed. Dr. Seidler is one of those incredibly rare people who is both deeply brilliant and genuinely kind. She doesn't just follow a set protocol--she pays attention. And I mean, really pays attention. When I did my first egg retrieval under a different doctor, we ended up with 7 eggs--and a massive insurance headache. We felt completely failed by the system. Then we met Dr. Seidler. She took the time to understand us--our goals, our history, our insurance limitations--and helped us make smart, thoughtful decisions that were truly in our best interest. Under her care, my next retrieval produced 22 eggs. That wasn't luck--that was her tracking how my body was responding and adjusting the protocol with care and precision. She stayed engaged, curious, and genuinely invested. She noticed things. She remembered things. She made us feel like we actually mattered--not just as patients, but as people. That kind of brilliance and humanity in one person? It's honestly a unicorn-level combo. And then there's Robin and Nikki, the two amazing nurses who make up the rest of this dream team. These women are absolute rocks. IVF is emotional, confusing, and full of logistical twists and turns, and they helped us navigate all of it with so much grace, clarity, and PATIENCE. They fielded every voicemail, email, and question (and yes, I had many!), and always responded with such kindness and patience, like I wasn't being overwhelming--even when I 100% was. Their kindness didn't come from a script--it came from presence. From actual care. And you can feel the difference. Thanks to this team, I felt supported, seen, and in incredibly capable hands at every stage. Their combination of expertise, compassion, and steadiness helped me stay grounded through a process that is anything but predictable. They didn't just guide me through treatment--they held me through it, with so much heart. And now, after three egg retrievals and three embryo transfers, I'm sitting here, 20 weeks pregnant, feeling this little baby kicking (!!) as I type--and the gratitude I feel is hard to put into words. I know I will carry this team's impact with me for the rest of my life. Dr. Seidler, Robin, and Nikki didn't just help us get here--they gave us the gift of feeling truly cared for in the most vulnerable moments. I will never forget what they've done for our family. If you're wondering whether Boston IVF is right for you--my honest advice is this: don't just look at the clinic, look at who you'll be working with. The right team makes all the difference. And with Dr. Seidler and her team, you'll be in the best possible hands. Their care changed everything for us.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Seidler and would recommend her to anyone struggling with…read moreinfertility. In my experience she has been caring, compassionate, and always responsive to my needs as a patient. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Endometriosis and following laparoscopic surgery performed at BIDMC I was able to get pregnant from one IVF cycle with a fresh embryo transfer. My wife and I are overjoyed that following a long wait for surgery due to COVID-19 I was able to get pregnant so quickly. Thank you Dr. Seidler!

I'm giving it 4 stars because I feel like we ended up overpaying for a lot of prescriptions that we never ended up using. I paid about 4k out of pocket and used like 60% of it. The only reason for going forward is that I do really like the doctor, however it's becoming abundantly clear that the one and only time I met with her will probably be the last time I have an appt with her, as I'm already scheduled to meet with the PA once it's all said and done. As a medical professional myself, I am truly appalled at how poorly they speak to patients, the nurse who called with instructions was clearly reading off a script like a patronizing robot, no care or compassion whatsoever. Because you can't get ahold of anyone, tips and tricks for dealing with some of the pain for injections I've had to go on Reddit to find out. Billing department are complete idiots also, have no idea what they're talking about and I will absolutely be looking at any bill with a fine tooth comb. If I decide to ever do this again, I will be transferring my care immediately somewhere else and advise others to steer clear!

I was told that I would be able to get to work without being too late for 7:30 after having my blood drawn. Fast forward to Monday (day 2 of my cycle) and I called to let them know I would be in the next day to do the blood work. They informed me that I should have called ASAP to schedule the appointment, and that the only opening was at 7:50, and that I needed an ultrasound as well. When I said I was confused, the nurse rudely replied "if you'd let me finish." Then she tried to transfer me to schedule the ultrasound, and hung up on me. This is a very stressful and confusing thing, dealing with infertility, and I will NOT be going back to IVF New England.

They were wonderful, not only checking me out, but my husband as well. We only had one chance since it's all insurance would cover, and they did everything they could to make it work. Everyone was so rude from start to finish. It was extremely hard to get in touch with the new patient coordinator to get an appointment. Met with dr Huang who, on our first meeting stated "you should consider egg donation as having a child may not be in the works for you"- (I'm 33, healthy, unknown cause infertility) given the time sensitive process of IVF, we proceeded w this clinic. Shannon the nurse sent incorrect preauth form to insurance, pharmacy had a hard time getting in contact with the nursing team which caused almost a 2 wks delay to obtain meds. We were not able to speak with dr Huang the entire journey, nurses were rude and also hard to get a hold of. When I came in for my saline sonogram, dr Huang was the performing provider and was so cold, she didn't say a word to me tho we only had our appointment a couple weeks prior. At the end of our journey, results were not what we had hoped for and at my follow up appointment, dr. Huang proceeded to speak about another patient, why she was upset with her care and projected her situation onto me and continued to recommend egg donation. She also suggested I go to other clinics such as Brigham and can bring back their recommendations to her and we can proceed with their plans which really took me by surprise given her years of experience. At the very end when I requested my medical records, it took OVER a month to get a copy of my records from Alicia who had such a nasty attitude and kept saying her workload was too big which is a crazy excuse. It took my husband to get involved for her to actually remain my medical records. Swapped over to another clinic and now having the opposite experience.

We had maxed out our insurance coverage at the time and were going to be paying out of pocket. Dr. Weiss was our primary physician and he has been wonderful. We primarily saw him in Westborough but did have a couple of appointments in Dedham and one in Boston as well. Having multiple offices made scheduling timely appointments easy, though some required a little extra travel. After the initial consult & testing, he recommended laproscopic fibroid removal surgery. The surgery went well and on its own, was life-changing for me as it ended years of debilitating monthly menstrual cramping. We were set to proceed with a round of IVF a few months later but life had other plans. We had to cancel that round of IVF and request a refund; everyone that we dealt with during that process was very understanding & supportive. We decided to proceed with IVF this year. Kelly, his nurse, was so caring & excited to help us along on our journey. Whenever I called the office with questions, I always received a call-back quickly. The nurses were friendly & polite; in the past at the other clinic, I felt like an inconvenience to them when I called with questions. I never felt that way with FCNE. The patient portal also makes getting your updates/ orders easy & understandable. The link to the medication injection videos were very helpful. We travelled to Reading for our egg retrieval and transfer both of which were performed by Dr. Plant. She was lovely; very enthusiastic & positive about helping us reach our goal. The anesthesiologist was informative & professional as well. The operating suite was clean & comfortable. Our first round of IVF after surgery was successful & I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. We have been released to the care of our OB but I will miss the care and support from Dr. Weiss, Kelly and the rest of the FCNE staff. I would highly recommend their services!
