I was looking for a place to try Acupunture and was recommended to Healthy Mind & Body through a friend. After seeing Roseanne for the last few months, I feel like a new woman! I have lots of muscle tension in my neck, shoulders, back etc and overall I feel so much better! Significantly decreased the amount of tension and pain I feel. I also had to see Roseanne for an emergency session when my neck was in a full blown spasm (to give context, it can be so painful to move or do anything!) and after a session of acupuncture, the episode subsided within a day or two. The facility is clean, quiet and a perfect place to go for Acupunture or cupping. They also have other services as well. Roseanne is an absolute sweetheart! I would, and I have, recommended many friends over to her. If you are needing a fix, see Roseanne and you won't regret it!

And my weekly visits to the chiropractor wasn't cutting it. The owner Roseanne is such a sweetheart. She walked me through the steps of acupuncture and was certain that I'd find relief. The actual session is soothing (I go to sleep instantly lol). And I must say, after my second session, I have no pain or discomfort in either neck or back. I'm still in awe and looking forward for my next fix :) All in all, I'd highly recommend Roseanne and her services to my friends and family. She's the real deal.

I received another text stating okay, but just send us a copy of your insurance card. At this point I stated that they clearly did not understand my previous text. Having a high end insurance I know I can go anywhere, it's 1 week now and I am still waiting for my appointment call. Seems the practice is more concerned about insurance than helping a patient. Will be looking for another chiropractor that works with massage. Also blocked the number as I did not want to continue to text, not everyone is into the new age texting.

Life changing treatment!…read more Where do I begin? I have so many good things to say! I had been in bed for about a week with a chronic migraine attack - barely able to muster strength to even eat. The pain got so bad I contacted my primary care physician to setup a visit. After his examination he wasn't able to determine the root cause of the migraine, but prescribed migraine medications, and setup an MRI to be done in a couple of days. The prescription meds were no more useful than the OTC meds. I made zero progress, and the pain was only getting worse. That is when I decided to give acupuncture a try - given I have had success with it in the past for other problems. Jennifer was fully booked, but her office team was able to squeeze me in. They sent me the forms I needed via email, so once my appointment rolled around I didn't have to wait around in a lobby doing paper work (the last thing you want to when fighting a migraine). When I showed up for my appointment I was greeted like I was a family member, or a dear friend. The office was warm, cozy, and the smells of essential oils gentle filled the air. After checking in at the desk I was immediately taken to my treatment room - no having to sit around and wait in a lobby. Within a matter of minutes after my appointment started, Jennifer was able to determine what she thought the root cause of the migraine was, and began treating the issue. I immediately felt relief! I was in total disbelief! What I really appreciated was Jennifer's patience in describing what she was doing each step of the way, how and why things were causing me pain, and what to expect during the treatment, as well as after the treatment. She is so kind, patient, friendly, and truly cares about your wellbeing. Before going to Jennifer for treatment I felt like a prisoner in my own body, and didn't have much hope things would get better. She is amazing at what she does - and truly cares about healing people, and that is exactly what she did for me! I can't thank her and her team enough. Jennifer, and her staff are absolutely amazing!

I've been seeing Dr. G for a few months now for dyspnea, which is shortness of breath due to…read moreanxiety and extreme inactivity. Covid was really hard on me especially because I moved from New York City as a full-time musician to a stay at home dad sitting in front of my laptop 15 hours a day in this lonely isolated house on the side of highway 21. I found myself gasping for breath and suffocating in my own body very waking minute, it was terrifying to say the least. the pulmonologist couldn't find anything wrong with me so they said it was probably stress. My own investigative online research led me to Dr. G and his amazing acupuncture therapy. His no-nonsense approach and his calm and quiet demeanor yielded excellent results. His acupuncture therapy worked wonders, combined with his recommended exercise and supplemental intake routine advice. After only two short months, once or twice a week, I'm proud to say I feel completely healed and back to normal. I'm getting out of the house and taking proactive steps to maintaining a healthy lifestyle again. If you are going through any type of physical reaction to extreme inactivity, depression or anxiety, I highly recommend Dr. G in his facility. I should also mention that right before I started seeing him I tried Prozac which was the most terrifying experience of my life. By week three I was having suicidal thoughts and that's not who I am at all, those pills, well they may work for some people, had a incredibly horrific impact on me and I was left with nowhere else to turn. The Recovr facility itself is very clean and well-maintained. It is clear he takes pride in his practice. I can't thank you enough for what he's done for me and although I feel healed now, I will certainly be back with any other ailments that may arise in the future. One last thing I should mention is if you haven't done acupuncture before and are understandably apprehensive, please know that it is not painful at all in any way. Some people are afraid of needles but these needles are the kind that do not hurt. In fact, you kind of get addicted to the sensation after a while and I crave the meditative relaxed state they put me in. I am able to retrace old forgotten memories and meditate on what I really want out of life while I am on that table. There's something really magical about acupuncture that I can't explain. The fact is, there's no scientific proof that acupuncture does anything and yet billions of human beings throughout the ages have been healed miraculously from everything from cancer to sprained ligaments to headaches, asthma, anxiety, critical illnesses and even seizures. It really is a transformative experience and you have to experience it to realize how incredibly powerful it really is. especially if modern medicine has let you down in the past, you owe it to yourself to call Dr. G right away and give this a try. The best part is you don't have to really do anything, you just lay there and let his therapy heal you. Thanks again Dr G!
