He pushes pressure points that release the muscles, and on me often uses TENS units (little nerve stimulater patches), heat, some striking tools (muscle busters!) and has different tables depending on the issue you're having. (one is motorized and swivels and such to stretch hip muscles, etc.) He's open, relaxed and friendly, and it's clear his aim is to make you feel better. I really can't overstate her expertise. She can pinpoint a precise spot on your spine and make a minor adjustment that radiates relief all over. I can't visit as often as I like, but no matter if it's been a week or month since my last appointment, she can alter her treatment to get me back on track. One day, I came to my regular appointment with a major headache. She asked me if I felt it behind my eyes and I said no, it was mostly in the back of my head near my neck. But sure enough, later that night it started to ache behind my eyes. She is so knowledgeable that she saw the issue before I even felt it. It was unbelievable. She is a fanatic about this tool she uses instead of a manuel adjustment. She will explain for about 10 minuted why she thinks it is better. Receptionist seemed like she had somewhere better to be, but was very helpful when asked. The massage therapist is hard to schedule with, VERY talkative, and was talking about other patients while I was scheduling my appointments.
