He should my husband and daughter the xrays and explained our possible options. I had surgery shortly afterwards and immediately told my family what to expect. When I call his office, I get a call back usually in 15 minutes. I had to go back recently and have the apparatus removed. They told me it would take 24 to 48 hours to know if I was approved. After 3 days of not hearing back, I called them and they brushed me off saying they had not heard back. I tried again in five days with the same result. After more than a week there was no word, so I called them a third time. Their response, "Oh, you were not approved." So I asked why didn't you call me? "Oh, we just heard." What a bunch of BS. I told these people that I had recently moved to the area and they were recommended by someone. I also told them that I was in pain and needed to see someone. They did not care in the least! They never offered that I could pay cash for my first visit while they run my insurance. They just hung up. I have never been treated this way by a medical office. Luckily, I found another provider and my insurance was approved within the hour.

There services are rightfully in high demand and to observe the treatment floor is comparable to observing the kitchen of a Michelin Three Star Restaurant; that is moving with purpose, coordination and grace, albeit at a faster pace as the staff guides and assists the patients through their varied treatments for the day. This is made entirely possible by the coordinated and dedicated effort of the entire enthusiastic staff who are simultaneously able to engage in both light hearted banter while focusing on the details of patients' treatment which contributes to the overall healing and holistic environment. I feel very grateful to have access to this redoubt of healing and very highly recommend it to anyone in need of its services. Ned K East Hampton , NY.

Dr. Petruccelli came highly recommended, however I had an extremely negative experience during my…read moreinitial consultation. I sought help for two injuries, one older sports injury that has caused me chronic pain my entire adult life, and another recent knee injury that significantly reduced my mobility. He was incredibly dismissive, interrupted me while taking my medical history, and acted skeptical about my level of pain. As someone who has sustained quite a few acute injuries, and who has received PT, chiropractic, and osteopathic care in the past, I appreciate when providers ask for my consent before making adjustments after assessing the injury, as well as talk me through what they are doing as they do it, he did not do this, nor did he ask if anything he did was causing pain, I had to let him know multiple times that what he was doing was hurting. I've now left his office in more pain than when I arrived, and with very few actionable steps to take. I would not recommend him unless you are comfortable asserting yourself, and I would definitely suggest you think twice if you have any trauma associated with your injury/ailment, as he does not communicate or offer explanations in advance, or give you much agency during the appointment.

Luckily, a search through my insurance led me to Dr. Petruccelli's website. As an athlete, I tend to be wary of chiropractors unless they have a sports emphasis, and was stoked to find someone out on the island like him. I emailed late on a weekday, and he made room to see me the next day, which is always appreciated. And even though he knew I was in from out-of-town, he took his time with me to understand my history and my injury, and even gave me follow up exercises and further recommendations. He incorporates and offers a number of different treatment modalities - estim, shockwave, ART, NKT. If you are out on Eastern LI and need someone, I highly recommend Dr. Petruccelli.
