I ripped my leg open on a piece of wood at bass lake. The cut was super deep and pretty gross…read more I've never had an IV or stitches. I was a nervous wreck, my insurance is lapsed, and I'm in a lot of pain. From the moment we pulled up to the time I left, my experience was really positive all things considered. They brought me a wheelchair, the desk staff was friendly and helpful. The waiting room was relaxing. By the time I was up I was not doing well mentally. I cried, almost threw up, was super dramatic etc. The medical assistants were so sweet and empathetic. They brought me graham crackers when I thought I was going to pass out. And just made a big effort to help me relax and feel comfortable. I wish I could remember their names. They were great. My doctor was Kevin. He was thorough, and knowledgeable. He took his time taking care of my wound and sewing me up. His bed side manner was amazing. I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. I am so grateful to everyone at Camarena on 426 for making the worse experience so much more bearable. Thank you for taking care of me.

I had a pleasant experience visiting this urgent care today…read more The front desk staff and the back office staff were all very friendly and professional. I saw Dr. Drake who was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I did have to wait a bit because there were about 6 cases before me. I will return here in the future if I have an urgent need.

Adventist Health, Oakhurst: 2024 Sep 27 (2.875 of 5)…read more We were so disappointed with this place that we assumed the next person we saw would give us the same service - but, we were pleasantly surprised by Helen Monnens, FNP. She treated us with care, listened to my husband's concerns, and tried to explain the best she could about the issues. Helen deserves a 4.75 of 5. Let me go back to my previous review. This is the only facility that we could go to with our 'horrible' insurance coverage. This 'so-called' medical office has only shown their unprofessionalism, their disrespect to patients, and their uncaring attitude - plus they bill under a doctor's name even though we never saw 'any' doctors there. This sounds like malpractice. (1 of 5) Thanks to Helen, this place managed to climb up from my previous review. This review is not for the place... but, for the person. Unfortunately, the overall accumulated points remain below 3 because of my original review.

My son was a nicu baby and needs medication and our doctor stopped filling it randomly and when we called to get it fixed it never did. For two weeks we called because my son was losing weight due to him not having his medication. Front desk ladies responses were "okay" when I was trying to urge her to speed the process up, specifically Rachel, so I would never bring your child here unless you wanna be neglected and for the front desk ladies to make you feel like you or your problem does not matter. Do better Oakhurst.

Debbie was absolutely the most caring, considerate medical receptionist ever. You come to expect…read moreat least decent services from places like this, but Debbie went 110% to help me out, even though she was dealing with an emergency coming in at the time. Jennifer, RN took the time to actually listen to me and my narrative of my injury. The doctor on duty (forget his name), young thin balding doc was attentive enough, but would not Rx me ANY pain medicine (I'm allergic to ibuprofen and as soon as I told him that it was like he was not even willing to consider any other options)--all this despite an injured tendon on my left knee and ankle, and possibly on my right knee and ankle too! I understand opiate misuse but you can't treat everyone like that. Can't you even give #20? I had to ask him for an ace wrap, and ask him for a toradol shot. They said he was the only doctor there today so I'm sure it's just a case of "get patients in and out". He told me to rest it and ice it which I will obviously have to do but such a bummer since it's the first day of a week long hiking trip. I even asked for a note for half dome village to accommodate me with a cabin close to the parking lot so I wouldn't have to walk far and he wouldn't even write that! Excellent support staff and RN's, but 2 stars for that doctor.

This is especially important in a place like this, where patients are likely to be feeling on edge and unwell. Both times I've been here, my wait time has been very reasonable. The medical assistant and doctor were both easy to talk to and I really appreciated the doctor's calm and knowledgeable demeanor. One of my visits was for a moderately embarrassing issue and the doctor and MA helped me feel comfortable and I didn't feel any sort of judgement from either of them. My concerns were addressed both times I visited this urgent care and my issues were resolved. This isn't the closest UC to my house at all (I don't even live in this city!), but if time allows, I would absolutely choose this office again. And they are open an hour later than many other urgent cares!

TLDR: Dr Kerr and the staff at this urgent care are 10/10 fantastic, they are amazing!!!!…read more Firstly, I was shocked to find an urgent care that had such a high rating. Most medical facilities struggle to keep good reviews because lack of staffing cause long wait times and quick interactions. Secondly, I was shocked that the urgent care wasn't extremely busy and that I was brought into the back within 15 minutes of my arrival. Thirdly, I was so so IMPRESSED with how kind, and just happy my doctor was. I don't meet too many doctors who really strike a cord with me, but DR.KERR was genuinely just such a nice doctor. I was seen for a kidney infection, I knew the symptoms, had experienced them a year before, after a quick urine test he agreed. He said he'd prescribe a tablet to take once a day for 10 days, if I experienced fever to go to the ER. I asked if he knew how fast the CVS right next door would possibly fill that prescription (dumb question-that isn't something most doctors are really going to know, but I have word vomit sometimes) and he said it could take anywhere from an hour to longer. He asked if I ever used them before and I said no. He then said he wanted to give me an antibiotic shot that would at least cover me for 24 hours in case they didn't get the prescription filled that night, which was AMAZING. He didn't have to do that at all. I am so thankful that he did, though. CVS didn't get the prescription filled until late. I went to bed in a lot of pain due to the kidney infection, but that shot did it's job and by this morning I am as good as new!!!!! I'm still going to grab my prescription after work today, because following the treatment plan all the way through is how it gets fixed and doesn't just flare back up in a couple days, but I cannot express how fantastic Dr. Kerr and really ALL of the staff was.

We are new to the area, have scheduled doctors appointments with a family doctor and a GYN next…read moremonth to establish care. So being without a GP or GYN I came to this location because I feel like I have a kidney infection. The lack of any kind of attempt at human connection in this office is astounding. There's no one to help you with check-in, you're immediately pointed to a QR code where you fill out all of the paperwork yourself. Once the receptionist has that, she points you to a machine IN THE WAITING ROOM to get your vitals. Everything from weight and temperature to blood pressure and oxygen numbers is done by one of those machines you generally see at Walmart that you sit and put your arm in. WTF? That machine prints out a paper that you give to the receptionist. Because I was there thinking I have a kidney infection, she handed me a urine specimen cup, and told me to go into the bathroom, again, in the waiting room. A basket in the waiting room for the collection of your investments already had someone else's specimen in it. With their information on it. I'm sorry but HIPAA who? I then sat back down until called back to go to a room. A nurse didn't come in the room to talk to me or anything. I sent to room 3 to wait. I sat in my room for half an hour, listening to the full exam of a kid in the room next to me because the walls are really thin, before a doctor come in to tell me that because I drink a lot of water, my urine was clear... dilute ... and that it could be an ovarian cyst or even appendicitis, she doesn't know what's causing the pain in my lower back, that I should go to the emergency room to get imagining done and they could tell me what's causing the pain in my back around my kidneys and the malaise. So not only did I just pay my co-pay, but I was also charged an extra fee for urinalysis, something I've never had done before in any doctors office in my life. I walked out feeling like I just wasted my money and my time. If you've got something really simple like a sinus infection, I feel like this would be a good option. But for anything else? No... and now to the ER I go. UPDATE: I noticed the rebuttal the manager of the office posted below, and no, they are not telling the truth. There was a name, first and last name on that cup of urine that was sitting in the bathroom when I went in. And the person who went in after me had to look at my cup that had my first and last name on it as well as the previous cup. I'm not going to let them sit here and gaslight me
