I turned off the water to the house and then called C&H at 9:45 am. At 11:50 am they were in my driveway. I'm not saying that everyone will get their emergency service that quick, but I was very happy that it worked out for me that they had another job right across the street from me. Once Cody arrived it only took him a few minutes to diagnose the problem and he left to get the special MOEN part that he needed. (I'll use just Delta in the future) Upon his return he set to work replacing the valve and walked me through what he was doing so I understood everything that was going on. Soon enough he was done, presented me with the reasonable bill, and then advised me on a future toilet purchase after I mentioned needing a new one. He showed me where the filter was located and said that it should be cleaned regularly, something I was never told by the installer. I asked whether we could install a second riser on the tank for easier access to pump it next time since the access lid didn't have a riser and it had to be dug up. He said that's what he would do and offered to buy the parts for me since I wanted to do it myself. He got the parts, and it was an easy install.
