I was in a desperate situation. Yellow jackets had built a nest under the siding and fascia of my house and there were tens of thousands of them. Nothing worked. Finally, I gave up and called around to find an exterminator. Most were booked up solid for a week and some told me things that were not accurate. I called Action. My call was answered by an answering service who assured me that my call would be returned promptly. Less than 30 minutes later, Eric called and listened while I described the situation. He stated he could come by the following day at 3 pm and was confident that he could fix the problem but that a second treatment might be necessary. He said the second treatment would happen at no charge if it's needed. The next day, Eric sent a text message at 2:30 and stated he would arrive by 3 pm. He arrived at 2:55. He quickly got to work. Less than an hour later, he was finished. His fee was more than reasonable, especially since I gave such short notice. He was pleasant, honest and a great communicator, keeping me informed along the way. I highly recommend Action Pest Control for any of your exterminator needs. I will personally be calling him sooner than later if I have a similar problem later on down the road. Had some random moths that all of a sudden appeared in my house. Turns out you should be really careful when you buy a basket, lol. The only reason I can laugh about it now is because action pest control responded to my request very promptly and took care of the issue right away. He also made sure to tell me that he guarantees his work and to let him know if I noticed any evidence of them returning and he would take care of it. Alex is an amazing young man, the kind every mom hopes to raise: attentive, professional, a real gentleman, clean cut, can communicate extremely well, and made my little mouse problem feel like it wasn't the horrifying, embarrassing thing it felt like! He uses a fab method to find the breaches in our home's exterior and then put out bait traps in those locations. He'll return 30 days later to check the traps and monitor the progress he's made. Dan is a lifesaver! I had just moved into a house that was evidently infested with bed bugs. Within three days of contacting him, he came in for a very speedy inspection and treated my house in the SAME visit. He walked me through exactly what he was doing and why, and even helped me prep my house for the treatment. He was incredibly polite, professional, and efficient. I had Action Pest Control come to my house for some spiders and wasps. When I first called, the guy on the phone (Dan) said he would charge x amount for removing the wasps, but for ~$70 more, he would spray the whole house. Seemed like a good deal to me, so I went for it. Dan showed up to my door on time and we proceeded to walk around the house so I could show him the issues. I pointed out the wasp nests, and I asked him if he could remove the nests. He said he didn't want to remove them after spraying some toxic chemical to kill the wasps because they would be pissed off and that would cause them to get defensive. My first thought was - "They are dead. How are they going to be pissed if they are dead? I can see how you wouldn't want to touch them while they are alive, but why would they care if they're dead?!" Never the less, I let him continue. We walked around back, and when we got to my back yard, he took my landscaping equipment and carelessly tossed it away from the wall. This really pissed me off. He could have easily broken something, yet he didn't give two craps about the care of my equipment. We continued through the house walk through. After the service was done, I asked him to spray under my car in the garage for Black Widows (along with whatever else was living under there). And he did. We proceeded to talk about cars as he sprayed mostly the concrete under my car.... At the end of that, I shut the garage (which, it, along with the fascia outside the front door, was dripping with this chemical. I went back inside, and Dan was already sitting inside talking to me as I shut the door. Manners? How about asking before you come inside? Anyways, he came in, and a cricket that was dying from these chemicals came hopping in. I asked him to get rid of him, so he kicked this cricket (soaked with this nasty chemical) onto my carpeted steps. Put off by that, I asked him to squish him. You might assume I would have wanted him to NOT SQUISH THE CRICKET INTO THE CARPET, but clearly he opted to do it anyways. Overall, would I use his service again, probably not. I was not happy with the way he mistreated my property and the lack of manners and professionalism. The critters seem to be dead, he was on time, and has a nice attitude (overall). But the things I've mentioned here are not going to bring me back as a customer. Not happy. read more

We used Action Pest Control for bat removal and later on to get rid of bat bugs. Bob was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He came out to our house ASAP when we found the bat bugs. We had bats living in our chimney. Bob came to our house as soon as he was able to take care of them. He and my husband sealed up our house and then Bob left a bat trap on our house. He was very nice and understanding of our situation. After we got the bats taken care of we asked him to spray our house for spiders ect... He came right back and got it done quickly. My experience with Action Pest Control has been very positive. We first asked them to come because we had a huge nest of yellowjackets inside the eaves of our house. We had done everything (using cans and cans of the spray). Finally we called Action and he got rid of all of those in the eaves as well as many other hives we were not even aware of until he showed us. So we now have them come once every other month. We have NO problem with pests and he always does a couple of treatments for the Yellowjackets a couple of times each summer. They are the best! read more
