SPOILER: High prices for used products, sometimes higher than buying the item new!…read more I love pawn shops, and I found this one randomly on a bike ride across Esquimalt road one day after work. The store is actually really nice. Very good selection of guitars, tools, tvs, electronics etc, and tons of watches. They had some cool products, but being a knowledgeable consumer I was shocked at their super inflated pricing. Used G-shocks for $100+ I saw a citizen eco-drive for $525. You can easily purchase an eco-drive on amazon for less than $150. Very nice ones for less than $300. Used Swiss army knives for $30+, when you can easily buy them new at MEC, Ebay, Amazon for less or equal money. I could go into many more examples, but suffice to say in my opinion, the store was vastly overpriced for used items. If you shop here, make sure you know what you're buying because otherwise you'll end up paying more to buy it used than new.

They rudely accused me of being aggressive when my glasses fogged up, and told me I've been in telling him sob stories when I haven't been in the store in years. He then told me I was being ridiculous, and even said I was ridiculous to try and sell a camera so I can feed my kids! While I dont mind that he didnt want my item, all he had to say was "Nk thank you ma'am, I'm sorry " or whatever, not accuse me of bringing in garbage and basically throw me out! Looks like the ancient dinosaur that runs this place needs to retire.
