He's definitely the best piano tuner I've ever had. But that probably is because his father was a piano tuner. And Sam doesn't teach piano, or perform on the piano. He plays, but his job is tuning. So he's by far the most experienced person to work on my piano. He probably has tuned more pianos than anyone I know of. He spent quite awhile on the repair--turns out there was more than one. He also took the time to show me exactly what he was doing. He then spent at least an hour just on the tuning. So he was working on my piano for at least an hour and a half. He is very polite and professional. A very likable person who is very busy, but gave the impression he was in no hurry as he worked on my piano. I will not use anyone else now.

Their offer was accepted, we have our money, he has the Wurlitzer, and we are done. Am I satisfied? Not with Bill Miller, I assure you! BUT I AM WITH THE BBB! They did an OUTSTANDING job of helping us and preventing him from ripping us off and making him make this distasteful situation "RIGHT!" Final note: ALWAYS-ALWAYS-ALWAYS do what I did NOT do: CHECK the references of a professional in ANY field, AND ASK OTHERS IN THAT SAME FIELD WHAT THEY THINK OF THAT PERSON/COMPANY YOU'RE CONSIDERING! We hired this company specifically to eliminate a mouse problem and were assured they would take…read morecare of it. Unfortunately, much of what was promised was not followed through on. They sealed the house and placed mostly sticky traps, but mice continued coming in through the same area we originally called about. Cleanup and follow-up were inconsistent, technicians sometimes showed up unannounced and blamed the office for not calling, and there seemed to be an excuse whenever we raised concerns. We eventually went back to old-fashioned snap traps ourselves and caught more mice that way. In the end, we had to seal the gap in the closet ourselves with spray foam to stop the motion-detector light from coming on at night (which means the mice stopped coming in). Most disappointing, my mom had recently lost her husband and has significant vision limitations. She hired professionals because she needed help and trusted their assurances. I feel the service was misrepresented and that she was taken advantage of during a vulnerable time. I would not recommend this company.

We never received this service of extermination of the inside of properties. Normally if the properties get exterminated they are done outside and I needed something done right away .... So I had to pay the cost. My husband was getting bit all over his arms and they were like chicken pox (swollen).... I had Brandon from this company come out to exterminate for bugs, which turned out to be Bed Bugs (which I had no idea that I had that problem)... I felt so embarrassed and Brandon reassured me that it was probably NOT my fault as it can happen to the best of us who have people visit us as they might have bed bugs attached to their clothing and bed bugs travel with people through luggage; through business airline seats ; at restaurants seats; from hotels and the best of upper-end resorts. So-- I felt better knowing that this bug is quite common . Brandon was very detailed in showing me what a bed bug looked like and where to look for them and came up with my total cost for his services. His extermination service came in 3 visits instead of one for a total cost of $275. Most exterminators charge that fee for just one application...I have not seen a bed bug since and he finished exterminating for Bed Bugs a week ago. I liked his service so much that I hired him on for a monthly basic service ($45.) a month to spray for other bugs (peaty creatures) and this will be done monthly until I say to stop. I recommend him and feel he is honest and trustworthy as we had to leave our premises for over 2 hours and he was very careful with moving our furnitures when finished. Today, I'm totally happy and trust that if we have that problem again, he will be available to help again.

It is absolutely refreshing to find a business that takes pride in their work and respects their clients. I hired Action Moving after interviewing three other moving companies. The professionalism of the staff gave me the peace of mind that they would do a good job. The owners were very helpful and excellent to work with. Easy and prompt scheduling. The day of the move, the movers showed up on time and were super in sync with one another, very and efficient. They handled belongings with care and the entire experience went very smooth. Exceptional service. This is my 5th time using Action moving. I'm a single lady and they set everything in place for me. They connect the washer and dryer up for me. Derek and Tyler, the two movers, were very pleasant and got the one bedroom apartment loaded in about an hour and it all arrived in Joplin with no breakage or other damage. The problems began with the move to AR. Four men showed up to pack up my stuff in Joplin. They underestimated the amount so had to wait for an additional trailer to pack most of the rest, this caused their truck to have issues climbing hills so it was over 2.5 hours to drive the 1.5 hour trip (I took a load in my truck too). For some reason, they decided to only send three men to unload! So after 12 hours they finally "finished" unloading. 5 Star did cap my rate at the maximum they estimated, but it could have been much less, I believe. The reason for the one star is that because of the delays and length of time for the three men unloading, they weren't able to reassembly the beds and furniture as they included in the estimate, and 50+% of my items are scratched, dented, missing parts, or broken! I would only use this company for local moves...nothing outside of the Joplin metro. Todd J
