Great buying experience with Action Honda in Hudson, FL. Special mention to Sonny and Steve, they were both great from start to finish. Very pleasant and attentive, but most important of all, trustworthy which is a big thing with me. Too many crooks around, not these guys. They gave us a very competitive price over the phone which did not change after we showed up with a trailer at their shop after driving 1 1/2 hours. Their fees are much lower than other dealers I checked. I was able to save $1300 on the OTD price of a brand new Honda Rebel 500 ABS SE. I particularly enjoyed talking to Sonny, he's been in the business for over 40 years, lots of knowledge and experience and a pleasure to talk to. I wish they were a little closer to me and I would be there quite often. They have a nice selection of accessories and many other necessary things, especially useful for new riders. My friend and I did a lot of research, and hands down this is the best place to buy a Honda motorcycle. Your final price is what they quote you over the phone, which does not change after you arrive at their doorstep. Dealer fees are much lower than all the other places and they are straight up no-nonsense. Not your regular dealer that will nickel and dime you with excessive fees. To give an example for comparison, I was quoted $9308 out the door by other dealer and I purchased my bike from Action Honda for $8044; exact same model. The difference was all dealer fees. I recently had my Honda generator repaired at Action Honda. While they legitimately could have charged me more for their services, which I would have willingly paid, I was very pleasantly surprised at how little I was ultimately charged. In these days of sky high hourly rates and minimum, charges, it was refreshing to be charged a very reasonable price. 7 days to put on a tire? Very poor efficiency of service. It's a tire. Takes less than an hour, what was the hold up? Spoke to Motorcycle Enthusiasts a couple of miles down the road, told them the situation and asked how they would handle it. We would have had our bike back six days ago if we'd gone to them. Sorry to say we'll no longer be using Action Honda. Their service people don't have any people skills. When asked, "Okay the tire is coming in tomorrow. When do you think it'll be ready?" The correct answer is, "Let me check," OR "We have a few bikes ahead of yours," NOT - "We TOLD him it would be two or three weeks." And "You're welcome to find somewhere else." For context the conversation was. - "Okay, the tire is coming in tomorrow. When do you think it'll be ready? It's been a week already." "We TOLD him it would be two or three weeks." "He doesn't remember it being up to three weeks, this is our only transportation, he has to get to work, what can you do?" "You're welcome to go somewhere else." I mean really? You want to get rid of a customer instead of being nice and retaining them? It doesn't take much to say a positive statement when a customer asks when something it going to be ready. It seems service department doesn't want to please the customer, but would rather argue in their very first sentence when asked a question. We'll be going elsewhere from now on. We aren't even going to buy new gear at Action anymore. Twice being crapped on by the service department after bringing our bikes there for the past 13 years. It's time to find a better attitude and actual customer service. read more

Had the best buying experience I've ever had at Action Honda. Nobody tried to force anything on us and simply allowed us to just buy the bike we wanted. Steve explained the maintenance and prepaid service plan to us clearly and in detail. We were so blown away by the openness and honesty of the owner and Steve. We went ahead and opted to add both options to the bike. The dealership was not only clean but really well laid out. Steve was an absolute pleasure to deal with and even after having the bike for a few days I wanted to pay it off in full. A quick call and he told me what I needed to do in order to do that. I hadn't received anything in the mail yet with my account info for the financing. We will absolutely be back for a 2021 Honda Monkey! Holy cow don't go here! They took my $374 for carburetor rebuild and within 200 miles they started leaking again (same thing) they don't even warranty their work past 30 days. He said to use additive!!!! That's crazy!!! Blaming everything on me. These guys charged $6 for fuel and I ran out on the way home!! Can you believe the lies and deceit. read more

I was discriminated and treated improperly. I brought my 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit motorcycle to Action Honda for a service of the carburetor. This service is a matter of cleaning the parts, removing sludge and buildup, replacing gaskets, etc. I had this same service done on this motorcycle a few years ago at Action Honda. They told me that the "carburetor was blown". I told them that was not possible. They told me that I would have to get another part. I called several MALE relatives who called them on their statements. There was simply a part that had broken off in the carburetor when they started taking it apart and Action Honda was unable to remove the broken park. They told me they could not fix it. I was given back my motorcycle in pieces. One hour of soaking the carburetor and using a tooth brush and sea foam the broken piece was removed. I discovered that I was missing pieces of the carburetor. One of the floats and its related cover and my air intake cover were missing. I took the broken piece and gave it to one of the owners explaining how I had been able to remove the piece of the choke they broke. They found the float and the related cover still sitting on the work bench a few days later. They DENY losing the intake cover. I spent more money for less service, my motorcycle is still waiting on parts from another dealer and I had to buy $100 intake cover. They should not treat older women this way. They tried to scam me to spend money on more unnecessary parts and services. Owner did not care. read more

My husband brought his motorcycle to Action for repairs and for detailing. Johnny worked tirelessly on cleaning up the motorcycle - the chrome, the seats, the bags. It was dirty and there was some rust and pitting. It is a '98 Royal Star Yamaha. When we went to pick it up it looked like new. We were both impressed with the look of the bike. He has brought his bike here before and they always do a good job. read more

Terrible customer service. Terrible automotive care. Said it would take them over a month to change 1 tire. Then said they have no workers, no help, and can't find anybody who wants to work...they have no inventory, they can't order anything because it's on back order....but every other company you call out there... can order... and can get you done in a day or so.... these guys seemed very unprofessional, like they didn't didn't want to help you or work. Literally to lazy to do anything, I asked to speak to management or call Corp. And the guy named SUNNY there taking calls says he owns the brand and the Corp. Claims he's the owner, I mean it was all a big joke. Please do not waste your hard earned money at this place. These people make action honda look Terrible and even tho it's it's only close.place around here... do not go. Trust it me it's worth the drive. Went to Honda thinking they knew what they were doing, had a problem with my atc and could not get it started and intermittent spark,. they kept my bike for 3 days then told me I had to order out dated /obsolete parts that are not even need nor made and claimed they could not start it - strange as this is the reason I brought it to them in the first place to troubleshoot the start problem. According to them they broke a pull string trying to start it and did not perform any compression checks or any other electrical tests other then pulling on the string like a monkey with no success - strange seems that's why I brought it to them. They told me to get the parts that are impossible to find and take it from there , I took my bike and got a partial refund of their " diagnose" fee and still felt ripped off when I left. Turns out I had to fix the bike myself it was a bad stator and any mechanic with an ohm meter would have been able to find out in 20 seconds. Went back to get the rest of my 40 bucks and they refused to return my money and I was left with no service performed what so ever or information as to why it would not start. Complete waste of time and I now have serious doubts about these so called "mechanics" that apparently pull the start string a few times and give up and charge the customer 40 bucks. Well if your thinking of taking your bike here be I would not recommend it and tell you to stay far from them and you might be better off fixing it yourself like I was. Shame on them for ripping me off. read more
