In the past two years, Elite has replaced a transmission and the hydraulic rack/pinion assy on my 2011 Chev Impala. (16k miles on the tranny, which is smoother than the original.) And I had them service the CVT fluid on my wife's 2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6R. Later, she brought it in because the electric window (passenger, front) wasn't working. Danny (owner) advised it was a battery problem (weird!) and charged only $60 for troubleshooting. Yet, we'd not have given a thought if he'd have charged us hundreds. The only deal I'm interested in is a) accurate, honest diagnosis; b) competent workmanship; and c) paying only what I should pay, for work that was needed and that was done right. That's the deal that Danny gives at Elite.

This place has the most reasonable hourly labor rate that you'll find AND you'll get excellent customer service from them as well. Even though the job took longer than expected I was still only charged for one hour of labor because that's what the owner quoted me and he stands behind his word and that is something that almost no other place does not do in today's business world. Because it took a little longer then they expected I left the guys in the shop a tip to maybe buy lunch for themselves and thank them for a great job and honest business. I'll highly recommend them to anyone who would ask me. Erik

I figured this was a long shot, but I stopped in with my hat in hand and asked Reid if there was any way they could take care of me the next day after I removed it from storage. He worked his magic and asked us to bring it over in the morning. We arrived at the shop the next day. Climbed out of the coach and heard air rushing out of someplace near the tag axle. I thought that would bump our trip back. They were incredibly professional and reassuring. "Not a problem, we'll take care of it". Take care of it they did! That afternoon, Coach is fixed and ready to hit the road. And the invoice was incredibly fair. Can't thank you and your professional staff enough. We'll definitely schedule maintenance with you in the future. Mark

The starter was not available locally and the Truck Center was able to get one shipped to Knoxville. This company went way out of their way to help us. They drove us back to the campground after the RV was towed to their shop and even made a stop for ice so we could save our food. They had a driver go to Knoxville to get the part and had our RV repaired by noon the next day. They even picked my husband up at the campground and drove him back to the shop to pick up the RV. We were so fortunate to breakdown close to this business. Commercial Truck Center could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend them for their helpfulness and great repair work.

HORRIBLE experience. I originally went because my car had front driver side damage & rear…read morepassenger side damage & the fuel tank guard under my car was tore off from running over a rogue tire. While it was being repaired I asked if they could fix dog scratches on the sides of my car and a couple chips of paint on the hood. I offered to pay for this out of my pocket and realize it was not part of the collision damage. I also had a piece on my hatch that had gotten bent under. (Last summer was rough) My car is less than 3 years old and only had 55k miles on it. They had it for 2 weeks. Upon picking up my car I was devastated by the damage done to the paint. When they tried buffing out the scratches they got into my paint and missed over 50% of the scratches. There are buff marks beside the windshield where there was no damage to begin with. The chrome around the window also has buff damage. When I asked about the damage to the paint I was told I only needed to put some wax on it. I took my car to 3 other shops asking about repairing the paint. None could believe I was told it could be fixed with wax. The best quote I got to repair the damage is for $1k. The chips I requested to be repaired had not been touched. As far as the damage repairs paid for by my insurance I am not at all pleased with it either. There are 2 chips of paint missing where the deer hit my car. I was told they weren't repaired because they didn't consider it a part of the claim. There is dirt in the paint and pock marks where the clear coat didn't fill in. When I pointed that out the response was that not even paint from a brand new car is perfect. There is a dent that goes outward on the door where the deer hit. When I took the car back and asked about it I was told that was damage done by someone else who had previously worked on my car and had had the door apart. I am the sole owner of the car and have never had any other work done to it. I was told they would fix it for a $700 charge to my insurance. After washing my car one of the places where there was dirt under the paint came off when I sprayed it with the high power wash. Now I have an area with no paint at all. There was a substance spilled on the grill of the car. When I asked about it they claim it was not done at the shop. It is very clearly a run of some sort that is only on the grill. Not the hood and not the bumper. This could only have happened if it occurred while the grill was off. I asked 3 other body shops and they all told me they believe it is clear coat spilled on it. The tire that hit the front driver side tore off off the molding around the wheel housing. After I got my car back from being repaired I noticed that there is a large gap between there and the door and that the new strip of molding was not attached correctly. I took it back to TBS and asked about it. After he looked at it I was told it apparently hadn't been fixed before the molding was put on and was broken. That they could put in a supplement to my insurance to fix it. I am still confused why the molding was put on over a broken piece. While there I asked about the guard under my car. It had not been replaced and when I asked about it he appeared clueless it needed replaced even though during my first trip there to get the estimate for repairs I had him look under the car to see what was missing and was told it was the guard. Since he didn't look under it again while it was being repaired I am concerned there may be more damage from the rogue tire that no one bothered checking for. Again they offered to file a supplement. There are 2 places where the paint ran. I am upset and disappointed with myself over the whole ordeal. The owners are family friends and I trusted them to take care of my car. They are not on my insurance agents list and when I told them that, I was told not to worry about that that I wasn't required to take it to who my insurance agent suggested that they guarantee their work 100%. Unfortunately that is not true and it is going to cost me thousands.

They told her it might just need to be serviced. She had not had the car 12 hours before it started hesitating and lost power while shifting. She invited me to ride along with her over the weekend. The car is still shifting hard and jerking witnessed by both of us. They did not contact her on Monday. On Tuesday she took the car back to them. Now they are saying something about her "driving patterns" (?) May be causing the problems with what we both think is a faulty transmission. At this point I and she feels they are stalling and giving her the run around. Whats worse is we feel the probably knew the transmission was bad when they sold it to her. If they don't attempt to make her satisfied with her purchase, I would not recommend anyone buy a vehicle from them. I certainly won't nor will I use their services anymore.
