If you, like me, are one of those loving free weights and adjustable racks for squatting and…read morebench-pressing, as well as a little bit of space when working out, I would recommend Fitness World Base Camp. The fitness center is well equipped, with treadmills, cycle ergometers, rowing ergometers (Concept2), cross trainers, free weights and strength machines, as well as two squash fields and a room for stretching out. But one of the center's absolute biggest strengths, in my opinion, is the big open space suitable for functional training/crossfit training, with crossfit racks for pull-ups, muscle ups etc., as well as ropes, rings, kettlebells and the earlier mentioned squat/bench press racks. This area is free to use when not booked for group crossfit-sessions. In addition to crossfit sessions, the center offers group sessions such as yoga and different strength sessions.
Another advantage is the center's high ceiling, which allows the air to stay fresh a little bit longer than in many of the smaller fitness centers. However, it still gets quite warm and humid in the evening.
I haven't tried every Fitness World center in Copenhagen, but this is my favorite center so far. Maybe we'll meet there? Good luck with your training!
