Mosie gave a careful assessment and estimate of the project beforehand. As his crew worked on the roof, they uncovered problems the previous roofer had glossed over or just plain ignored which had caused damage to the roof. Mosie immediately informed us of the damage and the steps needed to address the problem areas, he and his crew corrected those issues, and the roof is now finished and looking great both functionally and aesthetically. Hershberger Construction was the perfect choice for reroofing our historic home as they use the latest 21st century products and techniques, but are aware of the historic way of doing things, so the roofing was done according to National Register standards. Mosie and his crew are incredibly hard-working, conscientious, and will give full value to the dollars spent on your project. Although the roofing went over estimate due to the problems uncovered, (plus a derecho, and several hurricanes that drove up the price of materials), Mosie was careful about informing us of the problems which needed to be addressed and materials price changes as they occurred, and was very fair about what he charged. Their men cut out cable/internet/phone line, knew they had done it, yet didn't feel it necessary to come and tell us. All during Covid when we're working from home. I had to trek through the woods to find the men, who were hired by local utilities to clear trees from AROUND the lines, and ask them if they'd cut the lines. The response was a calm, "yeah, we did". The president of the company was notified and did absolutely nothing. I wouldn't trust this company to prune a rose bush. Completely careless! I wouldn't trust them!!

Mark visited my property at the time he said he would be there to prepare the tree removal quote. He gave me a date for the tree cutting and was on time and did the tree cutting work quickly and efficiently. The Limbwalker Tree Cutting Service men were friendly and easy to work with. They were careful to cut the trees and not damage my property or the lawn. The tree cutters did an amazing job with my complex tree cutting work, removing many large limbs of deadwood, and cutting down, hauling, and mulching several dead trees. Mark and his tree cutting crew cut a huge 110 foot white pine tree and a willow tree with a 6 foot stump. They completed the tree cutting quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price. The tree cutting crew cleaned up all the branches and raked the leaves up too. Mark Heinz at Limbwalker Tree Service and his tree cutting crew made sure the job was done right and I was happy with it. Mark provided a clear list of services and options. Mark was professional and explained everything before the work was to be done. Once I approved the work the job was scheduled and quickly completed. I was happy to see they cut the stumps as low as possible too. The clean up was amazing, surrounding plants looked untouched. I've had a lot of trees cut down in my yard and this was the first time I had tree cutters leave my yards that clean and surrounding plants that untouched. I was impressived and it shows pride in their work. Mark is very responsive to email and phone calls. They needed to very precise in cutting the 110 foot huge white pine tree down without damaging the neighbors fences, or my shed, and working around a power line. It was amazing to watch how efficiently they accomplished the tasks. The clean up of the branches and debris was outstanding. Extremely happy with the quality, timeliness and price of the job. Worst contractor experience ever. It all started when I got a phone call from my rental house. They…read moredescribed the problem and I told them to call the plumbers, and that I'd be right up. An hour later I arrived at the house and but the damage was already done. The pump in the basement was running, indicating a possible problem with the well. This is all Woxlands should have done. They should not have taken another step. Rather than quit while they were ahead, they decided to pull the well. They pulled the well but before putting things back the way they should be, they screwed a pipe plug on top of the well and they literally DROPPED it! There was virtually no way to remove the old well because of this. The next four days I watched these four guys standing in my yard, looking down a hole in my lawn with dumb looks on their faces. Before they left, Brad Woxland came to my house and told me: "My bad. We screwed up. We won't charge you for this since it was our mistake". I asked him how I was supposed to get water into the house.I said: "It's July. My renters work on a farm. They have babies in the house. They NEED water. They NEED showers. I have to fix this!" Brad Woxland responded with: "I dunno, call a well person. We're plumbers. We're not qualified nor certified to work on wells." The repair for this was over $9,000. Three months later, I was sent a bill by Woxlands for $3,000. This was the first of many. When I asked his why he sent me this bill when he promised that he wouldn't he replied: "I had four guys, in four trucks looking down that hole in your yard for four days.... that's an awfully big bill for me to have to eat." I resolved that issue by sending him a nasty letter from my lawyer. I should have sued him. I still might. Watch out for these guys. Don't let him touch your well. Document everything they do. Better yet, hire professionals with good reviews.
