Their craftsmanship was evidenced in the finished product, which we will enjoy for many years. Additionally, they transplanted six larger trees - a maple, a couple aspen, and a few juniper - all of which complete our landscaping beautifully. From start to finish, Todd and his crew listened to our preferences and accommodated numerous requests. Communication and follow through were excellent as well. I highly recommend Treehouse and their affiliate company, Custom Retaining Walls, for your landscaping needs. Five stars!

Their men cut out cable/internet/phone line, knew they had done it, yet didn't feel it necessary to come and tell us. All during Covid when we're working from home. I had to trek through the woods to find the men, who were hired by local utilities to clear trees from AROUND the lines, and ask them if they'd cut the lines. The response was a calm, "yeah, we did". The president of the company was notified and did absolutely nothing. I wouldn't trust this company to prune a rose bush. Completely careless! I wouldn't trust them!!

Upon the completion of the project, I eagerly gave Tom and ACT Landscaping a very good review. I…read morewas happy overall with the finished project and Tom's communication skills. Unfortunately, I am going to have to revise my review due to his lack of communication AFTER the project was completed and my review was already submitted. During the project, Tom was always reachable and he responded timely to my concerns whether it was through text, email or phone. After the project was completed, it became almost impossible to get him to respond and take action to solve an unexpected erosion issue. The warranty clearly states that they will repair any patio as a result of normal wear and tear for a period of one year. After only four months, one corner of the patio eroded to expose the edging and stakes. The first time, Tom sent someone out to add dirt to the area. A few days later after a rainstorm, the area eroded again. I emailed Tom and asked for a more permanent solution to the erosion issue, and he replied that he was going to take care of it. I waited a good three weeks and there was no response. I emailed him again, and he said he was busy with another project and would come out the following week. I waited another two weeks and then called him directly. There was no response so I left a voice message. I waited for him to call me back, but he didn't. A couple days later, I left another voice message. Now, it's been two months, and he hasn't called, emailed or texted me. There is now snow on the ground. At this point, I don't know if it is worth it to pursue this any further. It is a waste of my time and resources to try to get a response from this company. This project cost me thousands of dollars. Clearly, they are only responsive when they need the rest of the payment. Once the job is done, they feel they have no more reason to address concerns. After this experience, I will definitely not recommend ACT Landscaping to anyone.

Upon arrival the work looked to be at least 20 years old, but turns out was just installed by Act landscaping 2 MONTHS AGO!. I couldn't believe what i saw.. The installation was the absolute worst i have ever seen.. She mentioned that they were very easy to get ahold of during the project but once he got his money he has since Dis appeared. She has tried to call them for the past 2 months to get them back over to fix or give the money back, no answer. I even tried calling a few times and no response.. It makes me sick that there are companies out there that will do this to someone.. She is taking them to court now and will have to go through this renovation again.. At least this time around a company that ACTUALLY knows what they are doing will get the project done correctly. Please do a little research before you hire this abomination of a company..

Hershberger Construction has done roofing for several of our members in the recent past so Mosie…read moreand crew were a top choice when securing a roofer for the National Register historic home that serves as headquarters for our organization. Mosie gave a careful assessment and estimate of the project beforehand. As his crew worked on the roof, they uncovered problems the previous roofer had glossed over or just plain ignored which had caused damage to the roof. Mosie immediately informed us of the damage and the steps needed to address the problem areas, he and his crew corrected those issues, and the roof is now finished and looking great both functionally and aesthetically. Hershberger Construction was the perfect choice for reroofing our historic home as they use the latest 21st century products and techniques, but are aware of the historic way of doing things, so the roofing was done according to National Register standards. Mosie and his crew are incredibly hard-working, conscientious, and will give full value to the dollars spent on your project. Although the roofing went over estimate due to the problems uncovered, (plus a derecho, and several hurricanes that drove up the price of materials), Mosie was careful about informing us of the problems which needed to be addressed and materials price changes as they occurred, and was very fair about what he charged. If you are looking for a roofing firm with integrity, best construction practices, a conscientious work ethic, and an excellent finished project, you couldn't do better than Hershberger Construction. Many thanks, Mosie and crew!

There were no hidden secrets or guesswork about pricing or product, he made being impressive and doing well for the customer an intentional act. Extra gravel was used to fill in areas of erosion on the property, making the appearance more appealing. Much gratitude to High Standards Concrete.
