You can tell the character of someone by their actions, or in this case inactions. Ryan F. should be ashamed of himself - he's been told several times that this isn't the company he had a problem with, but Ryan's never fixed his mistake.

Dear General Manager;…read more This letter is written to highlight the excellent help I received from SHAWNA DAVIS the morning of April 1, 2021. Last night (March 31, 2021) two of our Motorola signal receiving devices failed and listed that the cards were not activated. They have been working like "champs' for years so this was surprising. Last night I contacted technical support and received a recorded message that a signal would be sent to these devices and within thirty minutes they would work - but they did not. I had meetings last night so I decided to wait until this morning only to be frustrated with the technical support that informed me the two boxes were not registered with Sparklight...this was after a prolong wait. I have had these boxes working for years and had received them from, then, Cableone. Why did they suddenly quit working? Frustrated and I asked if the Fargo office was re-opened for the public and when the tech person said the office was now open so I took off for Page Drive. At this point the story gets much better. SHAWNA DAVIS was exceptional. She was patient with me and listened to me repeat my story. Patient and listened - key attitudes for customer service. From that point she worked to solve the problem. I felt that she was working to help me. She was not a "talking head" spouting a company line but was listening and worked to solve the problem. I left feeling better about Sparkwire than when I entered the building and it was because of Shawna! Again, the operative words are listened, was patient and worked to solve the customer's problem. She could run a course to train new staff in customer service! Shawna worked to have me leave a satisfied customer and I am very grateful for her efforts! She represents the best of Sparklight. He took my phone and unaware to me, HE CHANGED MY PLAN WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONCENT and also added an extra $30 per month fee on top of that. My friend can vouch that he never asked my permission nor told me what he was doing.

All he was doing was sitting there , reclining in his chair , and making small talk. We waited for over an hour and then he told us "sorry you guys but I'm probably going to be on the phone for another half hour" as a way of telling us we should just leave and I have never seen someone , especially a sales person , so unable to multitask. He said he couldn't leave the phone in case he got off hold. He definitely could have walked 5 feet to help us for max 20 minutes and put the phone on speaker. Wasted so much time there for nothing and completely frustrated. Very unprofessional.
