Terrible work place. They don't treat their employees good, the employees have to rely on each other no matter what, the owners don't care about the employees they just work work work them all the time. Most of the employees are minors and get overworked so they tend to end up not caring. The owners don't know what they're doing. The place is outdated. They have a high turnover because they SUCK as a business. Do not work here. You'll regret it. read more

Ive never been one to leave a review but, during my recent visits with my daughter, I observed the manager (Michelle) confronting a young male staff member who appeared to be about 16 or 17 years old. While i know confrontation may be necessary at times, it should be done away from customers. Additionally, I visited Skateland on June 16th, i experienced a delay in receiving assistance at the skate rental area due to the absence of the "skate guard" (it was not busy at all) While I understand that the skate guard may want to enjoy their time at work, it is important for them to fulfill their customers needs before skating. Overall, based on these 2 experiences, i will not be returning to acres of fun. read more

I was extremely disappointed. I brought a group of kids in last night (Wednesday) from out of town( left at 5:20)- 4 cars and 14 skaters. Another group was behind us, around the same numbers. Plus others came to skate and walked out when they found out the early closing time. When we arrived at 6, so we had 2 hours of skating, I was told the place was closing at 7 due to not enough customers. Facing a lot of disappointed kids I begged for them to reconsider. The man in charge finally moved it to 7:30. But only the skating section. Concessions shut down and gaming shut down at 7. Going to the concession stand is part of the fun.! I was told the owner was contacted for the 7 o'clock closing time and he wouldn't call back to make it 8. I was told I should have called ahead. Why? I checked online multiple times to make sure they were open. Business hours should be followed. There was such a line that the end didn't get checked in till 6:30. After bringing a group of kids in for the last 5 years, not sure if we will return. Oh, plus they gave whoever wanted a small drink; it was free because of the early closing time. Went to Oh Yo's and gave them our money. Their hours were till 9 and they were open. read more

Acres of Fun was outdated a long, long time ago when I was in college. I remember going and feeling like I needed a shower afterwards... and NOT in a good way. Fortunately, it's under new management. They've already started making changes to the equipment, attractions, and attitudes of the employees. Upon my last visit, I noticed that more than a few machines were not working. It definitely seems like a "pardon our dust while we attend to a lot of deferred maintenance" situation. So, sit tight while Rome gets rebuilt. I will say, despite the work in progress, my 7 year old and I had a LOT of fun. We played games, we won tickets, and we can't wait to come back to do it all over again. read more

Best. Birthday. Party. EVER!!!!!! For my five year olds birthday (with guests aged 3-10) they had it so well organized and easy for us, we just showed up! The kids got to enjoy everything the property has to offer from ballpit/crawl-throughs, mini golf, go karts, laser tag, bumper boats(which was the surprise favorite!) and of course arcade games! Pizza was really good as were the cupcakes and the staff were kind, patient, helpful, and engaged. You can tell they are really working hard to update everything on the property, it looks gorgeous and every time we go there's something updated or new. Thank you acres of fun for a very memorable birthday that we as parents go to participate and enjoy as much as the kids!!!! read more

we take our youth group here once a year and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. the ownership has always worked with us to be sure we had a great time. we would bring sometimes 40+ teens and never had any complaints. the new management has been just as accommodating!! keep up the great work!! read more

Went here for a birthday party and it was really run down. When you first walk in, it looks like it'll be fun but as soon as you try to do anything, it becomes apparent that this places needs major help. Most of the arcade games either don't work or the game card doesn't work on them. The kids birthday party package was overpriced for what was included. Two burnt pizzas (nothing to serve the pizza with which is unacceptable especially during covid), small pop, and cupcakes, skating rink access (closes at 4pm), arcade cards with a couple game plays each, two trips to laser tag, and mini golf which was also pretty run down. There was nothing for the little ones to do, it's mostly for kids 6-12. Tried the batting cages but most of them were broken and staff had to come out a couple times to try to get the other ones to run. Each time, we got around to 8 pitches, then it shut off. We also noticed the taped off, broken arcade equipment and tables next to the restrooms. Wondering if the owner realizes customers see all of this and it doesn't look good. Restrooms were dirty, out of toilet paper in some, and stall doors were broken. It also seemed like the staff were not prepared for the party and were overwhelmed. read more

We visited today, 6/29/2018, with our ten year old grandson and his friend. We bought all day passes and it was worth well worth the cost. We had a great time! Go karts, laser tag, bumper boats, so much fun! The staff were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. The food and beverages are priced very reasonably too! read more

Service is very slow. It takes forever to pay. System needs to be upgraded. Teens that work here need to learn what customer service is!!!!! Management has to emphasize that since you are in this business. Overpriced and games are mostly not working. Very disappointed. read more

Had problems from when we went thru the door it is a nightmare save your money an gas it's like a run down Chuck E. Cheese half the games don't work scan cards for them are never working right with the games prices are lame jungle gym is for older kids if you have a child under 4 there gonna be really upset they can't play on 90% of the stuff cleaning ball but after they opened why wouldn't you do that before hand ? While skating rink was closed as well so literally nothing to do ended up carry a crying kid out that was being very patient and good so he could come here only to not be able to do anything he thought he was bad an that is why we had to leave try explaining these things to alil kid ! read more

I was very disappointed with this place. We drove from Cleveland to meet a friend here and I expected my children to be able to play. Instead we spent the entire time yelling at my 2 year old because he wanted to play on the equipment. They have things for 2 & under and right next to it is for the big kids. No separation what so ever and they have an attendant walk around and yell at your kids if the try to play on the equipment. A 2 year old doesn't understand why he can't play with his older friends. It is a poor design. And on top of that they are staffed by a bunch of teenagers/ twenty something's who obviously don't have kids. They kept telling my little ones not to do this or that. Cause a two year old is totally going to listen and understand when it's coming from a stranger. And when my littles did run onto the big equipment I was yelled at for climbing in to get them out. So...you just want me to leave him in there? The only redeeming quality was one understanding and helpful manager. read more

l grew up here and Acres of Fun was the place to be then! Not so much anymore! l came here yesterday with my toddler nephew. The customer service was AWFUL. They weren't personable at ALL and didn't care that we were there lt felt. We spent around a hundred dollars on food and tokens to play games to get treated so terribly. When we were all out of our tokens we went to get our prizes. The ladies at the prize station were not paying attention to my nephew. He was trying to tell the lady which prizes he would like but she was too busy talking to her coworker to do her job she wouldn't listen until l came up to her telling her that he was trying to tell her what he wanted. Even then she barely acknowled me she attempted to pull out the prize bin and continue talking to her coworker. We were very upset and embarrassed of what this place has become. As a life long customer, me my family and friends will not be returning. read more

It is a place for families to go and have fun together. The skating ring is awesome. On Fridays it is teen night, you skate around with friends and play games. And on Saturday it is family night it is basically like teen night but different games and music. Over at acres of fun side it is clean. The lazier tag is really good. And on Mondays they have a fire till you tire night from 5-10 and its unlimited lazed tag for $15. That is what I go and do most of the time or I'll go outside and do batting cages and go karts. The batting cages are nice. And the go kart track is nice. The employees are really helpful to. They all what to make sure that the kids are having fun and following the rules. What ever you need help with they will help you. It's nice to see teenagers going out and getting jobs and doing there best. read more

This was the worst for a birthday party. For over $100 that my daughter spent in her sons. There were 13 people that only revived 1 slice of pizza each. And then ice cold pre frozen cupcakes. If you ordered annoy other snacks she had to pay extra. Then the children had to wait after eating 30 min. Before playing invade they were sick. Oh and if they go and play the games but want to go in the park area they have ti hurry because you are only renting 2.5 hours. So no enough time to eat rest play so gifts. Then the cards for the games didn't work have the time. The staff is also teenagers. So we learned from this. Never again. read more
