There's a beautiful courtyard where they can walk around and get exercise. Or just sit there in the shade or the sun on the benches that surround a park like garden. There's activities throughout the day that they can go and do. And it appears almost every day somebody has brought music to share or play an instrument on. The dining area is very nice. There's a very nice library as you first walk in off to the right. There's also a fireplace that appears to be going all the time. I haven't really had the opportunity to meet many of the staff, but so far everybody's been very pleasant and helpful. We won't have to worry about my mom being abused, and that was our biggest concern in finding The Heritage. Highly recommend!! I was wondering if they had a daily therapy type thing because that's what my mom needs. She needs to keep moving. So if somebody from the Heritage can get back to me, I would really like to know.

All of the many people who staff Sagewood are well-trained, extremely pleasant and understanding and always provide immediate solutions to our requests for help. Top management is superb. The apartments are designed for older people like us and there is always immediate assistance which can be summoned if needed. We know many people here whom we have been friends with over our many years in Phoenix and we all agree that this is a wonderful place. Though my parent enjoys it at the Manor, I've been concerned about continuous increases in the rent and fees, especially the latest increase of just shy of 15%! This latest increase seems to have pushed residents "over the edge," with several now moving out to nicer and cheaper alternatives. The Manor seems to have also lost several good and caring employees that we really liked. I'm starting to get concerned about the trends I've been witnessing. I hope these trends don't continue.

When we walked in the door at Manor Village, we knew we had found Moms new home. We were greeted by Wesley Wilkins who provided us with a tour and as we moved throughout the building, Wesley knew all the residents that we came in contact with as well as employees. You could tell he really enjoys his job and every employee we talk with had a smile on their face. The entire building had a wonderful vibe and the residence we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly. We feel confident that if any emergency or care is needed, Mom is in the right place. It is now been a couple of months since she moved in and we could not be any happier. It has been such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Manor Village if you're looking for a facility that will treat your loved one like family. We chose Vi at Grayhawk because of the outstanding ranking of their health care unit and the warmth of the residents in the community. We attended several "meet the residents" marketing events. Our transition has been flawless. We sold our home very quickly, before the total renovation of our apartment was completed so the sales team at Vi provided housing for us for 5 weeks and absorbed the cost of storage of our furniture. They provided a recommendation for an excellent mover, and put us in touch with a relocation specialist who drew a floor plan to advise which pieces of furniture would fit in our new space. This experience has been much better than we could have expected. The staff is overwhelmingly kind and responsive, the food is delicious (two dining spaces, one formal and one casual) and we are so comfortable in our beautiful apartment. We're thrilled to be at Vi at Grayhawk.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful and the residents genuinely love living here. There is a variety of daily activities for those that want to participate, quality food onsite (all meals included), and plenty of additional amenities that help make living here super convenient. It's also a great location just east of Scottsdale on Shea. The apartments themselves are a great size and the entire facility is clean and vibrant. I'm not sure if this will be "home" for the long term for my mom, but it has been perfect for the time being.

Yesterday, I went to visit them and have lunch with them at their facility's restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I marveled at how new and beautiful everything looked. There was even a slight smell of fresh paint to add to the newness. The decor in the lobby was gorgeous and upscale, with high ceilings, inventive light fixtures, and lots of seating. The restaurant offers sit-down service. They have daily specials and a soup of the day. They had a good variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts for lunch. The brownie was my favorite part of the meal. It was decadent! This facility allows for small pets. There is a dog run area outside. There's also a heated pool and a gorgeous seating area outside with a large television mounted on the wall. My friend showed me the activity schedule. They offer many fitness and enrichment classes, such as art classes in the art studio. There are also bridge, rummikub, and mahjong groups that meet on a regular basis. This facility is not yet at 100% capacity. I would definitely recommend booking a tour if you are in the market for retirement living, assisted living, or memory care.
