I'm very disappointed with the service I received at this dry-cleaning place. My jacket was not properly cleaned or dried--it still felt damp and not fresh at all. On top of that, the order was delayed by two days, and when I came to pick it up, they couldn't even find it at first. It turned out my jacket was placed under the wrong name and listed as an alteration instead of a dry-cleaning order. The whole experience was frustrating and disorganized. I never leave bad reviews..... Their own website says they open at 7:30am, which is when I arrived. Edward finally showed up at 8:00, and before I even said a word he kept calling me "Mr. Hastle". He tells me to give him a minute, goes into the back, and I very politely said I was in a rush for work and just needed to pick something up really quickly. He finally comes out from the back close to 10 minutes later. When I brought up that their own website says they open at 7:30, he replies that it 's wrong and also says they're open on Sundays, which they aren't. Then why wouldn't you change what it says on your website? He never apologized for making me wait over 30 minutes. He must have called me "Mr. Hastle" at least three times - because I showed up when you open? There was another customer there as well so it wasn't just me. There are better options in the neighborhood. I'm never coming back. read more

We've been using their service for over 1 month. 1 shirt and 2 underwear were torn after they dry cleaned/washed it. They also gave our neighbor attitude. Now we found that they double charged us. Won't use them anymore. read more

Eddie (the owner) is one of the friendliest guys I've ever met. He'll always chat you up when you go in there and you really feel like your business is appreciated. Clothes always ready on time, (most of the time early!) and well-cleaned. I have been using Acosta's Dry Cleaners for almost 20 years. They have always given me top service. But today Eddie (the owner) outdid himself. A few weeks ago I purchased a shirt that look really nice on a stupid Facebook ad. The shirt is black and white. My wife attempted to iron it and the black started to bleed into the white. I figured it was ruined. Tonight we have an event that I wanted to wear the shirt to. I brought the shirt to Acosta's and Eddie was questioning the shirt, but he would try. He called my wife and said it was giving him a problem. I told my wife to tell him to toss it. He said no, he wants to try something else. He called me up two hours later. Snd he put it though his machines alone with different chemicals. The black that ran came out and it looks great. Super highly recommend Acosta's. read more

I love this place. I like that most of there stuff is done onsite (as far as I know) So the times that I have gone here, I've had no problems with my clothes. The first year I brought ballet costumes of mine here, they had no problems cleaning them for me. Several times, I have brought custom pieces of clothing I have made for people to get cleaned and the have worked well. The are several dollars cheaper than the laundromat that I use to wash my clothes. and a a dollar or two less than the competition dry cleaners nearby. I have been very pleased with them for the past nine or ten years that I have used them. But I do not use them on a daily/weekly basis. read more

So once again...this would be the third time that I decided to give them a chance with my clothes, I sent my daughter up to drop off slacks that needed pressing. They asked my daughter , if she was related to me. The owner then came out and proceeded to tell my 13 yr old daughter that he couldn't service my clothes based on my previous bad review. You would have thought that he would have tried to service the items and try to rectify past errors.... NOPE.....so he'll get one more bad review for declining service, even though he has every right too... read more

I agree with other reviewers who posted that the service is horrible. As typical with dry cleaners, I was always given a ticket with the date and time I should expect my clothes to be ready. On more than one occasion my clothes were not ready at the time promised. This is a huge inconvenience, yet I came back because they are located near my nail salon. The last time, several work clothes tag to needed were to be ready by 4pm on a weekday. I cancelled an after work engagement just to make it to the neighborhood to get my dry cleaning. When I arrive after 6pm, my clothes were not ready. No apology, no explanation, just instruction to come back the next day. I am convinced the only reason they have any customers is due to their location. If you take your clothes here, be sure you don't expect them to meet their deadlines. read more

Acosta's is super professional and patient. I brought a bunch of coats to clean and thought a liner was a an extra coat they accidentally gave to me so I brought it back. They were so thorough and we'll organized that they called me to recheck my coats because it was probably a liner from one only them. They are great!!! read more

A Big "0" star rating. They damage items and then tell you it was like that when left. Bullshit liars! Told me they didn't process the item and i know the condition i left it in wasn't same condition i received it. I would have noticed discoloration and big rip in the cloth before going to them. The owner doesn't let u speak to try to ensure his straight up lies. I said my peace regardless and confronted him on his lies. Should of trusted my instinct to walk out and leave nothing b/c the day I went to have my items dry cleaned, another customer was there who was called in b/c of "holes" in her dress. They straight up SUCK and I will tell everyone I know near and far Middle Village they do and not to set foot in their door!!! I sure won't!!! read more

IF you expect good old service with a smile- Do not walk in there. I have always dropped off my laundry because of the location and to this day the front desk attendant looks like someone forces her to be there.
