The care I have gotten from Dr. Nevling has been very good, but my experience with the office staff…read moreis not. I've been going to the office for about 30 years. Half the time when I call, I get a busy signal, and don't have the opportunity to even leave a voice mail. I can't believe that in 2019 I'm getting a busy signal. Sometimes I have to call 3 or 4 times before I even get through, and then I'm put on hold. Then when they finally get on the line they sound annoyed at having to speak to you. Again, the doctor is fine, he's got a great attitude and doesn't make you feel rushed, but the office staff needs improvement.

The only black cloud hanging over that office is their front desk receptionist. (The crazy black-haired lady who wears glasses). She acts like every person that walks up to her window is a nuisance to her time. She's very dismissive and outright rude. This isn't a one time occurrence. I've been going here for years, along with my family, and she's always been this way. I'm surprised she's lasted there this long. Good luck dealing with her if you go there.

She is a compassionate and incredibly well versed therapist with whom I feel that I am in very good hands with. I've made so much progress and am so thankful for my experience with her. She is direct, which is something I appreciate, but as a therapist understand that is not everyone's preference. It is all about fit and perhaps the woman who wrote the angry report was searching for a different approach, but that does not make this clinician a bad practitioner- in fact I find she is great at holding space when bringing things to light.

After so many years I tell myself that we are among his favorite patients, but it's probably how he makes all his patients feel. I like how I never feel rushed when I'm in the room with the doctor, and if I'm there for one specific issue, he asks me questions about other aspects of my health, ie. what else is going on? My son started with Dr Mike's brother Dr Jay at birth and continued until he aged out of going to a pediatrician (which was a surprisingly sad day for me!) and now he too is doing great with Dr Mike. He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.
