Jelli F., I reported on Burney to the SEC Employees, to FINRA and Law Enforcement…read more One is an event, two+ is a pattern. I was a client since 2010. I was introduced by Roma Vorha in DC. I was not aware fees are paid for referrals. I write "was" their Client, I quit being their client before they 'fired' me as their Client. Money was missing. I could not track it nor document the path of the money. Which is when they 'fired' me. I was a Client of one man, Russ, and his team of Natalie et al, from 2010 forward and then he moved out of State. I too did not feel a need to look beyond FINRA when I learned about FINRA. And then I learned again about FINRA. FINRA is part of the con. I made a VA law criminalizing their taking the financial crimes against us away from Cops and Courts. Madolynn Stemmer replaced Russ for a short time before Madolynn left the firm emailing me I was in great hands of Robbie Pratt and Bijal Patel. Lowell Pratt is aware, Tony Hardesty too. By this time of being 'fired' by Pratt and Patel, I was very deep in to being the Whistleblower the SEC Employees asked to help them back in 2010 which is how once Burney gave me a reason to look deeper in to everything I knew what I was looking at and for. I turned my papers in to the SEC Employees, FINRA cartel network, the DOJ and Law Enforcement. Their papers helped me show Law Enforcement how FINRA takes the Investment Advisors and Investment Advisory firms away from discovery by Cops and Courts. There is is Crime if Cops are not told, remember that. Cops only knew what FINRA and the SEC Employees were telling them... until. I let Winsome Sears, Jason Miyares and my local State Senator know.... since 2010 I have been saying these crimes against nice people have to stop. So today I figured let me post reviews online, and I came across your post from 2020. I printed it. I will update my TIP to the SEC and Law Enforcement. While you may feel, you could do nothing. You did something to be applauded for. Thank you. One is an event. Two+ is a pattern...

I have been a client for fifteen years. No longer. They managed taxable and nontaxable accounts…read morefor me. It was nice having a professional manager through the 2008 bust because then I could just ignore my accounts and tell myself professionals were handling the work. I now wish I'd not "trusted" professionals. If you read their site, they essentially put together their own mutual fund or ETF for you in the sense that they buy individual stocks while trying to diversify. This is a really expensive way of just buying an index fund. You are charged trade fees for each transaction, and on top they take a fee. Pricey, but I really didn't want to manage my own money. Do yourself a favor and buy a book. In the last two years, I have been hit with large, unexpected tax bills because they have traded in the taxable account. When I look carefully it seems they have actively traded on the taxable account while leaving the tax advantaged accounts to sit in a total of four index funds. I know what you're thinking: you're making money! But no, my gains over time have not kept pace had I just bought and held an S&P 500 index fund - and really trail once I take into account all of the taxes and fees. Before you hire a financial advisor, always check FINRA and re-check over time. Run every name.
