My son and I were stuck on the side of the highway 12 miles from Wickenburg coming back from Laughlin going home to Mesa. Sunday May 4 late afternoon I hit some debris in the road.My tire and rum on the front passenger side made my car underivable.it I looked up the closest tow company and found Acme. I spoke to Larry that gave me a very reasonable price and he assured me he could tow me in within approximately 15/30 minutes. Within a few minutes he texted me and told me he was on the way...We were so grateful because it was dusk and we were terrified of being on the side of the road after dark on that long stretch of road in the rain while big rigs and cars were speeding by. After we waited...and waited...and WAITED for the service company our insurance dispatched, we finally waved the white flag and called Acme. They answered the phone, and although they were on another call, promised to come and SHOWED UP! The dude was able to fix the problem in minutes, helped troubleshoot a different problem all within minutes. I would call these guys every time and work it out with my insurance later! this is one of the worst towing company ever was in a 283yard roll over and after signing all papers for the tow yard to have full award of my car they now want to contact me 3months later and want to try and charge me $500. While I knew I should get gas before leaving Kingman, I was in a hurry to get home and just left Kingman. With 102 miles of no services, my gas light came on 58 miles from Wickenburg. On Sept 30 2016, I was in my ford SUV traveling from Las Vegas NV headed to Fountain Hills AZ. Its a 5 hour drive. 2 hours left I was near Wiki and Wickenburg, when all of a sudden I lost power.... no acceleration, lights, etc. I could barely get to the shoulder.... Within mins. a Wonderful highway patrol pulled up. Officer Heigle... He was able to push my SUV over more and nice enough to provide me with a list of repair and towing services near by. Now its a Friday around 3pm and no business was willing to help me other than to tow me to Wickenburg and spend the weekend until Monday. So I made 1 last call......Acme Towing, a nice guy named Larry answered ..He was fairly sure after I told him what happened that the breaker box could be the problem...Since the traffic was loud and I couldn't hear him well, he was happy to speak to Highway Patrol Heigle. He advised us to open the fuse box inside the SUV.... It was crazy to me, but he was right! It is Possible that a rock or something tripped the fuses to my gas supply... Within seconds....after resetting the fuse, IT STARTED!! OMG he is my HERO. Larry really knows his Business... I'm super impressed and he was so HONEST and really went above and beyond to help and stayed on the phone until it was running and or if I needed anything else. Not only did he save the day, he is HONEST,CARING, and KNOWLEDGEABLE! A friend was out of gas and stranded on Hwy 93. I tried AAA for gas delivery and neither suggestion worked out. A Google search found Acme Towing and Larry, the most affable and kindhearted person I have met in a very long time. He also has a great sense of humor. When others were terse and short with me, Larry was happy-go-lucky and willing to help. He stopped at the rest area on the way back to Wickenburg, AZ from a another call and let my friend know I had found help. He did not have to do that and I will be forever grateful.
