Not just an appointment place fee, I paid for the whole thing, the jewelry and piercing cost. The piercing itself was fine. Clean single use needles and it wasn't exceptionally painful or anything. I have two things to critique: 1) my own experience: I do not like needles. It's hypocritical I know but alas I have 12 piercings. I have gotten pierced at 4 different studios and have visited 2 other studios for piercing change outs and check ins/ trouble shooting. I have always been treated very well even if I was scared of the needles, except here. The piercer was rude to me about me being scared of needles and just made my appointment extremely uncomfortable with her comments. 2) I had a friend who got pierced here and she was thinking about down sizing her piercing bc she had gotten it pierced a while ago and when I looked at her ear I realized she got pierced with a standard size piercing length. Which to be fair I am not a piercer, but usually me and all of my friends have been pierced with longer piercings in case of swelling and her ear was not swollen at all and the front and back of the piercing was flush with her skin. If her ear would have swelled at all it would have been very painful bc of how tight it is.

Just finding out there's a high chance Sera doesn't have her piercing certification.... anyways the piercings I've gotten at this place were solid and healed well but the front desk guy and the piercer Sera are very rude, condescending, impatient, and you pretty much worry about NOT saying something they don't like in order to not be spoken to with a big attitude.

Mike was my artist and it was a pleasure for him to do what I consider my "last" tattoo...cute little mother/daughter piece. My daughter was concerned about the pain but Mike is so gentle, didn't even know he was leaving his mark on you. Everything about Dreamland Tattoo was on point...the vibe, cleanliness, friendly and I can go on and on but you get the point. They are by appointment and they accept walk-ins if there is space and time. Dreamland was actually recommended by another shop and I'm glad they did cause I left extremely satisfied as a walk-in customer. I have a latex allergy and both Sarah and Mike looked high and low for latex free gloves to ensure my allergy did not flare up. Recommend taking cash for payment unless you don't mind paying the card usage fee which if I heard correctly, it's 10%. Oh and you do leave with ointment for after care. 10/10 highly recommend! I may just pop in to say hello next time I take a roadtrip to the area.

Kathy is wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and involved me in the process…read more I brought my violin in to her and she traced the sound holes. I wanted them on my arm. My violin is a handmade instrument by a friend of the family. He only made 7 violins and only 2 worked. It has imperfections and isn't the greatest violin, but it's special to me. When it was time for my tattoo, Kathy had my plan ready to go. (She is so organized!) we chatted a bit as she determined how I wanted it on my arm. I wanted to verify it a few times. And she was patient as I rotated it and such. Her inking on my arm was not nearly as painful as the previous time I got ink done! This was totally tolerable. Some artists drill in with a heavy hand. And Kathy is not one of them. I have been planning this tattoo and figuring it out for 3 years. I don't put ink on me unless I am completely certain. I just moved to this area and I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a skilled ink artist to do my dream tattoo! She and I chatted happily about things we have in common and the time flew by.
