From the person who answered the phone and got us quickly scheduled to the awesome technician, Dakota, they took great care of us and resolved the issue. What I was most impressed by was that there was no attempt at upselling services which I've experienced at other places. Dakota correctly diagnosed our problem, fixed it, and then was sure to stay long enough to make sure everything was in working order. I'm definitely saving B&C in my phone for future use. Great honest, reliable and affordable company!

Apparently 5 minutes from gluing the PVC pipes until water pressure wasn't good enough. About 2 months later it started leaking because around 3 months later the "fix" leaked 34,400 gallons of water in the next utilities billing month. Oh, and the connection he made to the pipe valve and faucet for my sprinkler system was done backwards so I can't drain my sprinkler system for winter without also draining all water from my house. I phoned him for four days asking to arrange getting the broken pipe repaired (no water to house all that time). He just ignored my messages. He calls his business "Integrity". From the moment he…read morearrived, Chris was extremely professional, His expertise and attention to detail made the entire experience stress-free. I especially appreciated the extra care he showed--he even wore shoe bootie covers, which speaks volumes about his respect for my home. It's not often you come across a technician who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service. Chris definitely deserves 6 stars extra one for the shoe covers and getting my unit FIX! He represents Thomas Service Co. very well. Avoid this company at all costs. After years of trusting them with my Trane HVAC systems, only…read moreuntil recently (12-years later), I discovered they had been installing incorrect, undersized, non‑OEM parts on my units while they were still under full manufacturer warranty -- and they even installed those wrong parts and had the nerve to warranty them as if they were legitimate Trane‑approved components. These parts were never authorized by Trane and were completely incompatible with the equipment. This is not a minor oversight -- it is a serious warranty violation that directly undermines system reliability and lifespan. One star is far too generous for this company -- they don't even deserve a rating. If Google allowed it, they'd earn a solid "‑100" or an "F" for their business practices. Because of these wrong parts, my units suffered repeated failures every single year: burned contactors, overheated conductors, fried circuit boards, and premature system breakdowns. These failures were not random. They were directly caused by the non‑OEM components the company chose to install. The pattern is impossible to ignore -- the wrong parts guaranteed the units would fail again, ensuring the company kept returning to charge for repairs. This behavior does not look accidental. It looks intentional. Then came the most unbelievable part: after years of induced failures, they had the audacity to tell me I "needed new units" -- less than nine months after my warranty expired. The timing speaks for itself. Had I used a company that actually follows Trane's standards, uses OEM components, and is properly certified to work on these expensive systems, I would not be dealing with this mess. Instead, they spent years monkeying around with my units, setting them up to fail the moment the warranty ended. The pattern strongly suggests deliberate sabotage. The pricing is equally alarming. A capacitor they wanted $350 to replace costs $28.50 online -- and that price is for the correct OEM part, not a generic substitute. That is more than eight times the actual cost of the component. The company also advertises a Huntsville office that is vacant, while operating out of a completely different location. This raises serious questions about transparency, business legitimacy, and overall trustworthiness. Between the warranty violations, non‑OEM parts, repeated failures, extreme up charging, misleading billing, questionable business location, and the conveniently timed recommendation to replace both units right after the warranty expired, I strongly recommend that customers stay far away from this company. Verify every part, confirm every charge, and do not assume they are following manufacturer standards. The pattern I experienced was unacceptable and caused significant, unnecessary damage and expense. Their conduct reflects clear deceptive business practices that violate BBB standards for honesty, transparency, and fair dealing, as well as Alabama's regulations prohibiting misleading service representations and improper warranty handling. What I experienced is a direct violation of BBB marketplace integrity guidelines and Alabama consumer protection rules, which explicitly forbid misrepresentation of services, fraudulent warranty behavior, and deceptive pricing schemes.

Avoid at all costs:…read more Had Best Care Home Services come out for a simple job of reconnecting my sink and dishwasher after a countertop replacement, through Lowes. What a nightmare this has been: The technician showed up and started working on the plumbing without knowing where the shutoff was, or trying to shut it off. Water was spraying over my kitchen for several minutes and I had to grab countless towels while he went outside and tried to find the shutoff. He then cut himself, and was bleeding all over my kitchen, for which I gave him more towels. He then told me that my garbage disposal was broken, and told me I had to go to Home Depot and buy another, and pay for the install in addition to the job I already paid them for. Interestingly, my disposal worked perfectly fine before they arrived. Somehow, it was broken within the one hour job. Things went even more downhill from there: 1) A few days later, the plumbing sprung a leak. I called Best Care and they sent the same guy back. He said that he installed the Ptrap backwards (how is that possible?) 2) A few months later, the water shutoff valves he installed sprung an undetected leak in my cabinets, and I now have destroyed cabinet wood and mold throughout. 3) A few months later, the drain pipe from my sink completely fell off while running the garbage disposal (also how is that possible?) and water sprayed out into my kitchen cabinets and floors. Not to mention their plumber gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him directly for "better prices". Having Best Care do work in my house was probably the singe biggest mistake I have made as a home owner. Please avoid at all costs

Their, father was in the plumbing business back in the fifties, and very early sixties. He operated probably, the best plumbing business within the area, and at the same time, he trained his sons to follow within his own foot steps. His sons took over their own businesses after the passing of their father. I called this company for some much needed services,as my home drainage system had completely failed, and was clogged, and backing up inside my home. The fine lady, whom I experienced the great pleasure of speaking with was the most helpful. She informed completely as to their busy schedule, while taking my order request. She informed me of the approximate time their representative would be at my home, and kept me posted, as they were a day or so behind within their work. I agreed to remain in line for my much needed work to be completed. Upon my time for their super fine service, I received a phone call informing of the fact their very confident worker was on his way to my place. Upon his arrival,as agreed upon, he began to inspect my complicated job requirements, and began to unload his super powerful routing machine. It was much more powerful, less than my very own, and some what powerful unit, which proved it could not perform the task at hand. This fine highly trained, and very pleasant technician hook up his super over powerful machine, and began working. It required his continuous working, for a period of two hours of hard work, in order, to clean out my main line, as it has some tree roots, and additional garbage stopping up the drain piping, growing within it. This, highly skilled, and very fine person, whom I had the great pleasure of discussing some of the many well known rip off artists, whom were serving within the heating, air conditioning, and plumbing business within our county. This great highly skilled worker got down, and got with the titty greedy work at hand, and performed for me a truly great experience, as I witnessed his hard difficult task, which he took full charge off this nasty, and difficult task. Far too many of them are serving only as percentage sales persons, only out to sell some new product, as they are not skilled at making any required service task. However, they excel at ripping off their customers with new sales offers, which are not need, or required in most cases. This wonderful workman, only charged me some over $200.00 for his wonderful services, so I provided him with a tasty bonus. I cannot recommend this great company, and their highly skilled workmen enough. highly enough. When, ever I require, any plumbing tasks to be done, I truly do know, whom to call.
