I grew up with Acme Cleaners back in the 60's and they use to be top notch. I've had 3 terrible experiences with them. I took a beautiful red bedspread with pillow covers to be cleaned. I specifically asked that it be Dry Cleaned. They didn't, they did a regular wash and shrunk it to where I couldn't use it again. As a long time customer, I went back for years after this. I took a beautiful London Fog Women's coat with zip out lining to be cleaned after winter. They have all my information including my phone number. Well Springtime came and went and I had forgotten about it. When I remembered about it and went to pick it up I was told anything left after a certain time was probably gone. They had my phone number and could have reminded me, but no-either someone kept it, sold it, or gave it away. I spent nearly $400.00 on this London Fog back in California back in 1975 as a High School graduation gift. They also ruined a $300.00 100% Cashmere pullover sweater. they are irresponsible and dishonest. read more

I dropped my wedding dresses off September 2021 and it's now October 2022; a FULL YEAR later and they're still NOT preserved because they're having problems getting boxes for them! He's got 1 dresses boxed and doesn't have a box for the other dress so I told him to put the 2nd dress in the same box and I didn't receive an apology or a discount for this LONG unnecessary wait! read more

We recently moved to Pueblo so I haven't used this cleaner more than four or five times but I felt like a valued customer from the first time I entered their establishment. Each time my clothes have been ready in a very timely fashion and expertly cleaned. My latest experience was amazing when we realized my son's interview suit was badly wrinkled when we pulled it out of the hang up bag. I immediately thought of Acme and they didn't disappoint. My son's suit was ready in time for his interview and he looked so professional and his suit looked great. I would highly recommend Acme for your dry cleaning and alteration needs. read more

I took two skirts in to be altered all she had to do was cut a tear off and do a straight stitch on the bottom. Your alterations lady is money hungry and was going to charge me $40 a piece for those skirts. I will never try to take anything else there again. read more

First of all, I'd give this ABSOLUTE GARBAGE of a Dry Cleaners zero star if it would allow!!! Now, with that being said, let me tell you that Aaron is the most worthless business owner I have ever encountered (I find it hard to believe that he's an owner of anything, let alone a dry cleaners), be that as it may, this clown had the audacity to call me a liar the first time I had to approach him about an issue that was his responsibility to fix (which is common for him based on other reviews I've read). The long of the short is that his broke down machines and employees damaged a zipper on a nearly brand-new winter coat after it was brought in for cleaning. I initially overlooked the price gouging and thought I'd give the guy an opportunity to build his business and reputation in the community, after he charged me $15.00 to clean one coat (keep in mind, I had brought in 35 coats at this point and was going to be bringing in 15-30 coats every two weeks for cleaning going forward) but this potential increase in business for him wasn't worth the cost of repairing the damage that his business had caused. NO, he thought it would be better to argue about it, cast blame on me and say that "I brought the coat in already damaged". The only thing that was "already damaged" was his warped brain. Needless to say, Acme Dry Cleaners (Aaron states that they have six locations in the Pueblo, CO, so I would avoid them ALL!!!) didn't resolve the issue and lost my business. The only positive thing that came from the whole ordeal is that Acme Dry Cleaners is getting their "day in court", with this review. DO NOT take anything of value to this dry cleaner. They ruined a $700 Calvin suit. Literally shredded it to pieces. I spoke to the owner directly and he took absolutely no responsibility. This place is theft in a brick box and the owner is the thief behind it. Do not take ANYTHING worth anything to this place. I wouldn't trust them with a t-shirt. read more

Well, I DEFINITELY won't be going back here!!! Wore a Victoria's Secret Pink sweatshirt 1 time, took it in to be dry cleaned with 2 other tops. Went to pick them up & the lady brought the other 2 tops out & I asked where the other was. She said the gentleman needed to speak to me about it because somehow it got a stain on it & I said well he needs to figure it out because it wasn't brought in with a stain on it. So the guy called me the next morning & said, no, she was looking at another Laura's notes that had a stain on it??? But magically the same day I brought mine in, the brand new sweatshirt "goes missing, aka...grows legs & walks away". So he was so "very" kind to write me a $45.00 check for a 65.00 shirt that I can't replace that was worn a whole 3 1/2 - 4 hours. read more

I took 4 sets of curtains & they only returned 3 sets. The owner insisted "You have them & I don't want to argue with you, & left to the back of the cleaners. I returned to address the owner for the 3rd time, with a letter requesting reimbursement for my missing curtains & the cost of cleaning them. The girl at the counter, Lesley stated "the owners never come in here". I said, well that's strange, I've been in here 3 times & have spoken face to face with the owner 2 times. She said, "well I've never seen the owners". Within a few hours, the owners wife, Diane, called me asking some valid questions and on her 3rd call, notified me that she was sorry, but the curtains are at the cleaners & I could go pick them up immediately. Why does a person have to threaten with further action to resolve a simple problem"? Other than Diane, very poor customer service. read more

I spoke to the owner twice which ended both times, with him insisting that he has proof that I had received all 4 sets, & left to the back of his store, saying "I'm not going to argue with you". i returned again to speak to the owner. me: I need to speak to the owner. Lesley: the owners don't come in here. Me: I've spoken to the owner face to face 2 times (last week) Lesley: well I've never seen them. me: please give them this letter. The letter was requesting reimbursement for my lost curtains. Within a few hours, the owners wife called me asking pertinent questions & by the 3rd call stated that she was sorry that my curtains had been found and were available for pick up. no apologies from Lesley, just "here they are". OMG, why does someone have to threaten with further action to resolve a simple request? Other than the owners wife, they have very poor customer service. read more

Aaron goes out of his way to clean my vintage dresses with amazing care and talent. Not everyone can make things that are 50 years old look sparkling and crisp. Not to mention getting out old stains. He's amazing. If he can't get it out, no one can. Prices are very reasonable here. Try going to Denver to a cleaners for perspective. Can't say enough good things about Acme. read more

YOUR CLOTHES WILL BE RUINED Since ACME bought out Stoehr Cleaners they have ruined 2 of my expensive dress shirts and a pair of slacks. They somehow manage to ADD dirt and stains that were not there when I took them in. They apparently have no quality control in the way they process garments. I've gone in the location on Northern and seen clothes strewn all over the floor. My crisp white shirt came back looking like it had been put in with greasy stained rags. I'm looking for a new dry cleaners. read more
