I know it was minor but I needed help putting a front plate on my BMW. These guys were so friendly and accommodating that they stopped what they were doing and helped me out. When they weren't 100% satisfied, they changed the color of the screws to match my car. And offered me homemade banana cake while I waited! All at no charge. Horrible customer service. Called three times to check on my truck that had been there for 21 days. I had set up the appointment a month previous. The last time I called I was told they were waiting on one bumper bracket then it would be done. I call today, which is when I was told it would be done, guy can't even find my file. Says he will call me back and doesn't. So I go down there to check in person. The place is dead and the guy who says "I'm just here answering phones" obviously wasn't. I had called two minutes prior and it rang and rang and rang. Nobody answered. Then the second I show any frustration the guy at the front desk starts talking over me, then goes and gets the truck and gives it back because he felt disrespected. One sentence into my conversation with him. Now I have used up all of my rental truck time for the repair, and they did not ever touch my truck the whole time it was there. Absolutely no communication about that the whole time and now I am being treated like I am the one who's an asshole because I'm frustrated. If it were me, I would never work with this company. They screwed up my wife's car put the wrong color door on it and left it. Didn't even finish it. These guys are low life's who treat people like shit and do horrible quality work. read more

The Good: Mike and the Team at ACME Body Shop are friendly. They are willing to make you feel like you are a priority as a customer. The Not So Good: After 14 weeks of being without a car, we still don't have a definitive timeline on the completion of repairs to our 2022 Mazda. From waiting to order parts after our car has set in the shop for at least 8 weeks, constant false promises and moving completion dates this has been a nightmare of a process. *Mike and team has attempted to rectify the situation. First of all I don't like leaving bad reviews, but if I can save someone from dealing with this business it is worth it. I was given a start date two months from the time I got the estimate. They said it was going to take about two weeks. I brought it on that date I was given. The owner then claims that his employee had screwed up on the estimate and no parts had been ordered.( First lie) I had received the estimate from the owner. His name was on the estimate. I will make a long story short as possible .i was given a new start date and my truck sat in their back lot for over 3 weeks with no work done.. During that time I was given 2 new start and finish dates. After seeing that they still had not touched my truck which is my work truck, we talked to the insurance company and asked if we could just get the truck and they said we could. We then called Acme and told them we just wanted the truck back. We eventually had to threaten the owner with the police to get the vehicle. We picked the truck that day with no problems but also nothing had been done. We were lied to many times and were treated like we were the problem. Stay away from this place read more

I chose this business because I am a USAA policy holder and Acme is a preferred shop with my insurance company. It took 21 days to get the estimate (and a whole lot of excuses why it didn't take the 2-3 days I was told at drop off), 147 days my car sat on their lot. The estimate said 30 days to fix. The parts needed were on a nationwide back order. On pick up date I walked with the Manager, Mike Sullivan, to my vehicle only to find the Caesar salad, sandwiches, and opened soda cans that we ate on the accident date left to marinate in my vehicle for the 5 months. That is the attention to detail they provided. The things that aggravated me enough to post my experience is are the following: 1. Not once did Acme initiate a call informing me of the status. I only received a call if the insurance adjuster contacted them. It was so stressful calling the manufacturer and insurance adjuster for updates. Customers don't like feeling forgotten. 2. I wasn't informed of the supplemental amendment of the estimate until I picked up my vehicle 5 months later. You charged $27,276.85 on a vehicle valued at $33,900.00. The initial estimate gave you the business. Your initial low estimate didn't include all of the deployed airbags and the third seatbelt. I wonder if my car would have been totaled and saved my family this continuous 6 months of inconvenience and stress if the initial estimate would have been more accurate. 3. After I got my vehicle back I drove it for 33 days with rattles and various other issues I returned it for repairs twice still not all problems fixed. My insurance had me go to a second repair shop, my vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive because according to GM a vehicle that has all airbags deploy must replace all in use seat belts which wasn't identified with your shop. And guess what, the seatbelt is on backorder. We finally got our car back after 8 months, but at least you got your $27,276.85. Not military friendly! read more

This place is super nice, not grungy like most places.. and the people are so incredibly nice and helpful! I got in a wreck and went there to get it fixed, didn't take that long, the only reason it took a bit longer is because they had to sent it to the dealership for a light on the dash. But even so they called to give me an update about it. I would definitely recommend people go there if they need anything! read more

If you enjoy being told that you're the reason why a part hasn't come in in a timely manner, yelled at on the phone for asking when your car will be done (after 3 days, mind you) and told that your car isn't a priority since there are so many others on the lot-- then definitely go to this guy. Oh, you can also count on cleaning blood off your leather seats if they install glass, and having your passenger side visor hook broken off so it bounces around as you drive after you roll out. I needed to have some paint repair done on our vehicle that had been keyed. After randomly showing up to the shop, an estimate was provided in a number of minutes. The staff was organized, amiable and professional. We decided to go with ACME because their estimate was the lowest of the three we received (we just moved to GF and are not yet familiar with local businesses). The repair work looks amazing and the vehicle looked like new when we got it back. When I went to pay for the work performed, the bill was $120 higher than the estimate. Apparently the paint we have on the vehicle is extremely expensive and quite involved to apply. This did not particularly surprise me, as the other quotes we received around town were more on par with this elevated price. After showing the staff my estimate, they realized they had made a computer error entering the proper paint into their program for the estimate. To my surprise, they immediately honored the original estimated price because they had made an error. This is an honest establishment that honored their agreement with me even though it may have cut into their bottom line. I would definitely recommend Acme Body Shop to those in need of bodywork repair. In my experience, they can definitely be trusted to perform great service and, more importantly, honor their agreements with customers. read more
