Which during that meeting, come to find, my child was threatening self harm during class. Which no one told me about until that following Friday, when the very teacher who viewed my kid as a burden walks out to my car in the pickup line, crocodile tears going, and says "your child is threatening to hurt herself during my class." Great, all the more reason for her to be done here and never see the likes of any of you again. What was once my happy little girl, is now miserable. So, she was done that day, two weeks before first grade graduation which she did not get to attend because I refuse to subject my child to anymore neglect or torture she may have had to go through there. Then it took a month after that, and reaching out to get her personal belongings left behind; had to call the private school board and get a recommendation on how to go about getting my child's things....where I was told I'd likely have to get the law involved because they aren't apart of any school board...even the private one here. So, I wouldn't trust these people as far as I could throw them. One, they have one teacher per class, not two or three like they would have you think. Most of the people there that are "teachers" are parent volunteers, or teachers aids. The tuition they list, is a grand off, plus a grand in co-op fees. They obviously play favorites when the victim of violence isn't welcome back, but the one who hits is. The funny thing in all this though, is the sheer will of just pure laziness in it all. I'm still getting emails from this school, I've yet to be removed from their lists. Why....who knows, but the incompetence, and will to overlook anything bad there is unreal.

Excellent. And the school is constantly making improvements while still striving to remain affordable to the average parent. Its the best investment you can make for your child's future.

From day one, it was clear that this wasn't just a daycare, it was a second home filled with warmth, care, and genuine love. The staff are exceptional, nurturing, patient, and truly invested in each child's well-being and development. Our children were not only safe and happy, but constantly growing, learning, and thriving. The balance between structured learning and play was perfect, and thanks to the strong foundation they built here, both of our kids transitioned into kindergarten with confidence and curiosity. We especially appreciated the consistent communication, thoughtful updates, and open-door approach of the teachers. We always felt informed and supported. Leaving APTG is bittersweet, it's hard to say goodbye to a place that has been so special to us. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be truly seen, supported, and celebrated, A Place to Grow is it. Erika Mom of Jake and Elin

The teacher would never say hello at drop off and make snarky comments like thanks for showing up today. All this preschool cares about is getting paid and fund raising for their own improvements. This particular teacher would respond to every other parent but us. She treated my son like he was beneath her along with myself. At the graduation ceremony she went out of her way to disrespect my family by mispronouncing out last name. Then took it upon her self to talk down to me after. This school is a joke, there are so many other places that will love and respect your children.

The staff's motto at the WISCA program is basically: "If they can deal, then they can heal". If you are a low needs/high functioning student looking for a school to help prepare you sufficiently for the future, and not cause your mental well being to decline whilst doing so, do not go here. If you are looking for a job here- if you are willing to experience high stress levels, low pay, and a toxic work environment to help kids who need it- please apply. One of the main problems with this program is that they are short staffed all the time. I've had to handle anxiety attacks on my own, lay on the floor to take a break, and put up with loud noises, constant conflict between my fellow peers- that have frequently escalated to either shouting or violence, teachers talking down to me, or being condescending when I genuinely need the support, and I'm tired. I am planning to go back to my home school as soon as it's possible. If you are a low needs student- please use every available resource at your home school to help you, because going here won't. I believe that some staff here have good intention, and that this program has tons of potential, but higher-ups are not willing to make progress. Please look elsewhere if possible for special education purposes- this place is not worth the hassle.
