Because of past dental trauma, I hadn't been to a dentist since 2020. I called several offices that morning, but Nora was the first person to answer. Her kindness immediately put me at ease, and she got me scheduled quickly. That same warmth greeted me when I walked through the door. Then I met Kayla, who was an absolute Godsend. I came in already struggling with a cane and boot from an ankle injury, and we connected over her own experience with an injury. She explained everything before doing it and was incredibly gentle with my photos and X-rays. But what meant the most was her compassion. When I became emotional about the years of damage to my teeth, she handed me tissues, reminded me to breathe and told me, "one step at a time." I never once felt judged. I felt safe. Vanessa, my hygienist, was incredibly kind, informative and compassionate. Dr. Kim took his time explaining what was happening, what could be fixed and all of my options. When I asked for his personal advice, he explained how each option could affect me long-term, which helped calm so much of my anxiety. Finally, Letty walked me through my treatment plan and finances. Instead of just handing me a huge number, she broke everything down, helped me prioritize what was most urgent and discussed ways to make treatment manageable. When I wasn't approved for enough financing and felt defeated, she suggested looking into individual dental insurance--giving me another option and hope instead of making me feel like the conversation was over. I didn't even have dental work done that day--this 5-star review is based entirely on the exceptional care I received during my exam. From Nora answering my frightened phone call, to Kayla helping me through my anxiety, Vanessa educating me, Dr. Kim explaining my options and Letty helping me find a path forward, I felt cared for at every single step. His ratings are high so I wanted to give it a try at the Rialto office. The office is very clean and comfortable. Really clean. Maybe because the practice has only been there for over 1 year but its clean! They play movies for the kids to keep them at ease. And they have state of the art dental equipment. The office staff made it extremely easy coming in as new patients. I filled out the paperwork beforehand for my family before coming in for our set appointments. Rose was the one who helped me with my insurance. She told me about my coverage and explained it very patiently and thoroughly. The office staff is very caring, patient, and competent. We only waited 5 minutes to be seen. The longest was 10 min but I came 5 mins late to the appointment that day. I had the pleasure of meeting both the doctors on different days. Dr. Yang is a gentle, caring and a very reassuring doctor. My boys were very pleased with her. One of my sons needed one of his baby molars to be pulled in order to have his permanent molar drop. He was dreading the appt for days. He didn't feel the shot only slight pressure and the extraction was less than 5 minutes. Dr. Yang reassured him but was also honest of what was expected. Dr. Galvan is a gentle, helpful, experienced and personable doctor. He has great technique in his work. He is involved with all aspects of his practice. And yet he does it with ease. He is happy, his staff is happy, which in turn makes happy patients. That's the kind of business I would refer family and friends to. I was a number to him a pay check not a person. He was rude nasty and did not do what I wanted. I am one of those people that at the old age of 64 still freak out with shots and they seen how upset I was over it, that Dr. Never made me feel at ease at all. I will never go there again and I will make sure I let everyone I know for them not to trust them. DO NO GO TO THEM!!
