Stopped in by this ice cream shop while waiting for our dinner reservations next door! walk up easy to order. We did 2 medium cups with waffle cones, (you get two scoops) i chose strawberry and lemon sherbet. Both were so refreshing in a hot day. The lady got the expresso fudge and strawberry! I was very impressed with how large the waffle cones were. It was sturdy too! You could literally scoop the ice cream with the cone instead of using your spoon haha. Staff were nice and got our order done in a couple minutes. Line moved fairly fast and it was nice to chat with some other families as we were waiting! Open parking lot. Seafood restuarant and clam shops. Right at the piers so the kiddos also can watch and look at the boats!

Achusnet Creamery in New Bedford is worth trying!! We were waiting for a table at the restaurant next door for dinner & decided to get some ice cream here while we wait. We got two medium cups of ice cream with cones: one with strawberry & lemon sorbet and the other with strawberry and espresso brownie fudge, around ~$15 for both! Nice little spot and they work fast even with such a seemingly long line. I really liked the texture & consistency of the ice cream; the espresso brownie fudge tasted exactly like it sounds but was not overwhelmed with brownie. I love a good strawberry ice cream, it's a "basic" flavor but it was good to have another flavor to balance the espresso brownie fudge. NOW, the cones are AMAZING! I say this because normally it's expected for cones to just break if you're trying to use it to scoop ice cream but no. It never broke once and instead of using our plastic spoons, we ended up using the cones as scoopers. Overall, would definitely come back again if around in the area! They also have food items too, which I thought was cool & neat ;)

I had the purple cow and coffee Oreo in a small cup and it was Yums. It was only 2 or 3 young ladies working this afternoon so the wait was a bit longer but so worth it.

Almond Joy!

So glad we found this place returning from the beach. We each had a chocolate frappe. We'll be back!

Bring your bae to Sorbae! This shop is colorful and cute! The owner is amazing. She is proud of her…read morestore and the products she is offering! Sorbae opened in 2023, and they have a store in New Bedford and also a trailer that they bring to local events! Either way, they are serving up yummy sweet treats and drinks! Their refreshers are amazing! They are unique, refreshing and delicious! Their pops are super cool because they are vegan and dairy free! This shop really caters to those with allergies who can't easily find lots of delicious treats or desserts that meet their dietary needs. They do a nice job of letting you know what items are gluten free, nut free, vegan, or dairy free! However the taste is not compromised at all! They also have matcha lattes, a frozen nor'eastah, and a chagaccino! They offer soft serve, bae parfaits (think soft service parfait sundaes) and these super cool desserts----bae buns! I have never heard of something so unique and cool. Sorbae is an amazing local business. From the cute shop, to a wonderful staff, to their amazing menu, it is the real deal.

Sorbae reminded me of Puerto Rico. It's not the way its decorated (It's decorated very modern pop-…read moreart, think Lichtenstein comics) or the vibe but the actual product. We had fresh fruit pops twice in PR and they came with options of rolling or dipping the pops into toppings. Sorbae is the same! There were about a dozen pop options ranging from coconut to sweet corn! Topping like white chocolate, coconut, etc... We settled on a coconut pop and a strawberry popsicle dipped in white chocolate. Extremely refreshing, fruity and the white chocolate was a perfect accompaniment to the strawberry. My heart was tugging me to a matcha float but I had just had pizza next door (Dipper Cafe.) Also, the owner was working and was very engaged in conversation with us. Very nice! We don't live close by but on a hot day I would Sorbae again.
