They're no longer full service there--just exterior washes now, and you have to vacuum the interior yourself. They sent me to the Marlton location for full service. The Marlton location did honor my punch card, but that perk is gone now, and the Thursday ladies' discount dropped from 50% to 20% off. Worst of all, the quality of both the exterior and interior wash wasn't even close to what Ritz used to provide. Bottom line: I'll be looking for a new car wash. Wash Haus Hand Car Wash on Haddonfield-Berlin Rd recently opened and has great reviews so far, so I'll be trying them for my next wash.

I've hesitated in writing this for a couple of years, hoping things would improve, but they…read morehaven't. Went through the other day, and it was the worst yet, so I can no longer go there. I wanted to write to the owners and make suggestions but there is no email contact information on their website. I have been going to this carwash for over 20 years, and before covid shutdowns it was widely known as the best in south jersey. Since reopening after the covid shutdown, with a completely different operating structure, not so much. First, the price has literally doubled. The price you pay for an exterior wash only is what you used to pay for full service, where they cleaned and vacuumed the interior. Now you stay in the vehicle and ride through, that's it. They used to vacuum, clean the glass, and wipe everything down, including door and trunk jambs. They would even put a little extra elbow grease into removing spattered bugs that didn't come off in the wash. I used to joke about how several people attacked your car at the other end and cleaned it. Always going the extra mile is what made them famous, and your car looked great when they were done. Now they give it a quick dry at the other end, and not a very good one. This past time they missed the windshield, so I had to put the wipers on as I drove out. You can use their vacuums and do that yourself, if you like. There are plenty of do it yourself places around, that's not why I always went there. If you do want those other things I talked about, just hit the full-service button when selecting your wash, and it will more than double your cost. My second issue is the overall quality of the wash. If that was good, I could learn to live with the rest and just go home and do the inside myself, but it's not. The car does not get completely clean. Wheels, top of rear bumper, around decklid, are some of the places I notice are still dirty after going through. One thing that really annoys me is not rinsing the soap off properly. This happens for a couple of reasons. The rinsing nozzles and the dryers that blow the car off are too close together, so the blower starts blowing water and soap off before allowing the water to rinse off completely. On top of that, not all the rinsing nozzles work. Some of them appear clogged, so no water comes out. You wind up with lines of soap still on the car that don't rinse off, then the blower blows more soap all over. Every time I leave there, I drive home watching soap blowing out of my mirrors down the side of the car. When I get home there are dried purple soap streaks down my doors and down the back bumper from soap running out of the trunk lid. I either have to rinse it down again myself or pray for rain to rinse the car off. Finally, I'm not sure what brand of tire shine they are using, but I watch them put it on every time, but when I get home my tires look dry. So, I wind up putting my own on. It's a shame, I used to love this place.

I wish I could have the same positivity for the wash. Today April 4th, I took my car to modwash as I have many other times. I did it on my way to work. When I got out of my car I noticed scratch his along glass, along doors, edges and everywhere. While I cannot account for every single scratch. I know for a fact that some of them definitely were not there prior. As I wax my car weekly. I've also witnessed people getting stuck in this car wash as it had malfunctioned. I'd highly recommend staying away from this specific mod wash.
