I had engine troubles while passing through Cortez. I thought, how lucky, I'm only a couple miles…read morefrom a dealer. Read the one review left about this shop and figured I'd be in good hands. ( my fault ). Dropped my truck off on fri. and was told that I should have some news by closing time that day. Granted, they said they were busy and I didn't expect to be pushed ahead of anyone, but I never heard anything back. Called on sat to be told they were "understaffed" and that sat was a half day so I may not know what's wrong until Monday. They did however call me back just before closing to tell me what was wrong and what parts I needed, but the parts wouldn't be delivered until Tuesday. Called Tuesday to see if the parts showed up and see if I needed to extend my hotel out another day. They told me it'd be done by end of day. Again no calls, so I went in about 30 mins before they closed, to be told there was more problems that may need addressed soon but not immediately. Then a few mins later that there was even more problems that were more pressing. The new parts and labor would have been thousands more and would have taken another week because they were busy. With only minutes to make a decision, and because they were clearly itching to lock up and go home, I decided to leave it overnight and come up with a plan. I decided to trailer it home for now and went in to pay for the work done already, so I asked, "are the dash lights off now and the motor runs like normal?" I was told "oh yea for sure, but the other work NEEDS done soon." Once I paid, I started my truck and instantly all the same lights came on, engine still misfiring, everything exactly as I brought it to them. After going right back in and saying it's exactly the same and you said it was fixed i was told "well yea, it needs more work" he didn't want to admit that he straight lied to me to get me to pay them without having fixed anything. He then started yelling at me saying "what do you want from me?" I asked for a refund and was told "absolutely not". Asked to talk to his manager and was told that he was in a meeting that could take 30mins or it could take all day. I asked why the new problems weren't diagnosed originally when I was told it was just an injector. He then openly admitted ( to just me in the room, so I'm certain he'd lie about it also) that they put in the injector HOPING that it'd fix my problems. When I called him out on HOPING, he slammed his hands on the desk and said " i'll have my manager call you as soon as he's out of his meeting" so I said thank you and left. Guess who still hasn't called me almost a week later. Must have been a very intense meeting. Maybe, hopefully, the manager or owner will see this and reach out to me and can have a cordial talk unlike their service manager who apparently has anger issues. As far as I see it, I'd definitely steer clear of this shop unless you're ready to just keep throwing money at them until they accidentally fix your vehicle.

Called the closest Harley dealer (2 hrs away) and they didn't even have the tire in stock. Several tire shops in Cortez said to call this place and so glad we did! Dale saved the trip. As we left there, my 2015 Ultra shifter broke. We pulled over to asses the situation. One of the ladies found Chrome Mafia online for motorcycle repair in the area and called and explained what happened. They said to bring it on over if we could, so we duct taped the shifter on and rode over to their place. Dale, the owner, is such a great young man who knows his stuff, and his Dad Terry took my bike right in. They put on a new upgraded shifter (instead of the POS Harley puts on) and didn't charge me an arm and a leg like the dealer would have. Their shop is one of the best I have ever been to. They explained and knew what they were doing. It is great to see a son and father team who care about people, their families and their job. I would recommend this to anyone who is passing through and needs help! I always try to help out the independents before I call a dealer.

We did get the towels, dishes and pots n pans package. Also the coffee pot and toaster. We arrived a few hours earlier but checked in to get rolling. We were given the tour of the motor home with all the instructions needed. As we checked in and they were going through the checklist, they discovered the battery for the rv had been shorted. They jumped in and got it fixed. We waited two hours for the fix. That should have been our first clue that it had not been detailed from the last time it was rented. So much for getting on the road early. They told us the gauge for the propane, would not register full but it was. They said the water was full, the gas tank was full and the septic had been pumped out. There was a big stain on the mattress but we brought a mattress topper and cover and we were very glad we did!' Our first stop, I could feel the dirt on the floor so I got down on my hands and knees and cleaned the floor. That made me concerned how well it had been cleaned so I took out my antibacterial wipes and wiped down EVERYTHING, steering wheel, door handles, cabinets, etc. I also noticed the gas was only 3/4 full, not a full tank as they had said. We pulled into our reserved spot for the night and it was time to cook dinner. Every pot, every pan, every utensil was dirty, greasy and crumbs and debri were in the drawers. So, I proceeded to clean all the dishes, pots and pans. My trip so far had been spent cleaning. Then the carbon monoxide detector went off. So we opened all the windows and could not understand why it would go off. I couldn't get the stove to light. Finally, I was able to use a lighter so I could cook. We had nice clean full size bathrooms where we stayed so we hadn't used the toilet in the rv yet. Next morning I discovered the toaster didn't work. Not a big deal but we had planned on not eating out. Toast would have been nice. We headed out before lunch and as we are driving down the road the carbon monoxide detector went off again!?! Then the shower started burping up gross water all over the place and they said to go get it pumped out. So we did and the septic was full too, which clearly had not been emptied from The last users-YUCK!! We had not showered or used the toilet yet at all!!! We went ahead and got the propane filled too. Third night of the trip the heater wouldn't work and we froze all night. Our option was to buy a space heater or find and rv repair place to fix it. Luckily, we were able to finally get it working. The carbon monoxide detector went off everyday which was uncomfortable to deal with. Kinda scary. We were charged for extra mileage- ok but no credit was given for the full tank of gas, the full tank of propane, the full septic system we had to pump, the broken toaster, the no working heater and the issue with the carbon monoxide detector. Everyday there was something and it became almost funny till we had about $500 extra we paid for "mileage". Left that motorhome more clean than I found it. For all the work, worries, and added expense for gas, and propane we did not see the value. If we will consider doing this type of trip again we would get a newer model, look at everything more closely and ask them to pump it out and fill it in front of us. I gave them two stars because they did reply to our texts and tried their best to resolve the issues over the phone promptly. Had they been unavailable I would have only given them one. Most of the issues could have been avoided by detailing the motorhome prior to renting it out. They were friendly and nice. It was easy to rent, and drop off.
