These were the tattoos I got a month ago except the artist screwed up real bad on both these she was with the shop cleopatra ink ive seen her work it was awesome but not that day so I popped my head in to a shop thats been in town for years I had a guy touch up one years ago so I needed an opinion and possibly a suggestion as what can be done you walk in the shop it feels like you've stepped into someone front room very cozy and relaxed and welcoming I showed her the art and right away she addressed exactly what my problems were I didn't have to point out anything in less than 10 min her friend handed her a marker and like that she showed me what should have been done and then added to it and covered up and it was like magic her skill is amazing the hardest thing to tattoo is a cover up it must be precise but you must have skills and she has them creativity is off the wall so that was b4 this is after see she is tops to me her vibes are honest and heart felt her policy is common sense and it makes sense check out her work messy tat let her improve it in ways you didn't think abo read more

To save myself from writing a novel.. Out of the 10 past tattoo sessions ive had, i had the most unpleasent experince at Aces and Eights for Friday the 13th. What should have been a "$40" tattoo (and looks like one too) cost me $100. They were running a special for $40 tattoos but apparently the tattoo would only be the size of a half dollar. And if I wanted it bigger, i'd have to pay more, understandably. While my tattoo is cute, it is NOT $100 cute. This woman was also very unprofessional, and thats saying something for a tattoo shop. The first thing she said when we walked in was "shit better not get crazy today" She was distracted the whole time, pretty much rushed my tattoo. Only took like 30 minutes.. and youre still gonna charge me 80$?! And not even wrap it? C'mon wheres the care for the customers? She really got lucky with me because i told my BF not to tip her because i knew i was being ripped off, but he did anyway. My first and only tattoo from this place, never again. Let me start off by saying how freaking amazing Amber is! I went in for my very first dermal and wanted it on my upper cheek under my eye, she explained to me that I should really think about going up a little more by the side of my eye where it's a little more meatier haha! She explained that it probably wouldn't have much to hang on to and may reject. I listened to her expertise and could not be happier with the placement! I have now been in for 2 dermals, daith, helix and Tragus all done by Amber! Everything was and is clean and sterile and not one time have any of my piercings gotten infected. As many times as I have been in, in such a short timeframe Amber goes over EVERYTHING like it was my first.Now on to my second tattoo....I am soooo in love with it! I asked her to put her own spin on it so it would be unique and that's what I got! Beautiful!! Going in for another tomorrow! The shop has always been clean, I am very picky and would never go into a place to have piercings or tattoos that were unclean or unsanitary. If i could give it 0 i would! I recently went for a personal piercing. My chest, one was too far back and the other too far forward. The jewelry he used was too short and was digging into my skin. The ball was streching the piercing, i had to pay $70 for this mess. He claimed he was the only certified piercer in casa grande, bs. He lied saying tattoo artist and piercers can no long accpt card and that its illigal. He seemed very nice hea just full of bs When i called and explined the ball was in the center of my piercing he told me it was normal and my Body "rejecting it" he said once the swelling went down they would return to normal then before i was done he hung up on me. I was in a massive amount of pain. I only went to this guy because i have grown a bond wtlith my tattoo artest and felt uncomfortable asking him to see the girls. I wish i just had because i had to go to him and have him fix them anyway. He said the jewelry was junk, too short, and he didnt know what he was talking about. My artist was worried that the ball had gaged tge piercing too much and made it useless. Awful! read more

My daughters wanted matching double helix rings. The owner personally worked with my children. He requested IDs and birth certificates. The environment was sterile and he was professional at all times. I also noticed the amount of patience and care he took with them. He explained each step beforehand, to help alleviate anxiety. Called ahead to see if it would be possible for my sisters and I to each get little matching tattoos done that evening. Was told to come in and show him our ideas and that it was most likely possible. Upon arrival we were still told they would work on us that evening and even quoted us 80 each. We waited a bit then Brian showed up and that's when everything changed. Not only was he now quoting us up to 120 for 2 of us and 80 for the 3rd for identical tattoos but he told us they would have to basically be minuscule. He kept going on about how he would never have time to finish them because he was an "award winning artist" and "precision" was most important. Instead of just telling us straight up he didn't want to work on us he became very condescending even to the point of saying that he doesn't do first time tattoos because he doesn't want to client to move or fidget causing him to mess up and discredit his award winning name. We found another awesome shop in town that hooked us up with beautiful hand drawn art in a decent size (about 4in) for 80 each and we were all done within an hour. Went with a friend to get my septum pierced. I paid 70$ was is very expensive, but seeing how he was 'the only certified piercer in Casa Grande' I figured it was worth it. It wasn't. It was pierced very crooked (it was going through the front of my nose on one side). The jewelry he put it in was cheap, with no balls or anything on the end to keep it from sliding out. Piercer (who was the owner) assured me that my septum was deviated and that when it was done swelling it would straighten out. It did not so I removed it (it was very painful and it very obviously pierced crooked). My septum is not deviated either and I knew that for a fact. Went back in and he told me he'd give me a free piercing but that I'd never be able to get my septum pierced correctly and urged me to "forget it". I got a free industrial piercing as compensation. That was also pierced incorrectly and had to be removed. After everything healed I went to a real piercer in Phoenix, my septum was pierced straight with no issues. Would NOT suggest going here, owner clearly does not know what he is doing and should stop piercing before he causes anyone serious medical issues. read more

Went to Aces and Eights Twice, received 3 tattoo's from them. The first one I had was on my calf and it was not what I had asked for it was not centered nor big enough. When I complained the "artist" just gave me a small discount. 2nd time I went I had 2 done. The first was on my wrist which was very important to me. It was a saying plus a butterfly. It meant a lot to me since it was for my breast cancer survival and my grandmother. After 3 days it got infected, I went in and naturally complained they said they could not do anything until it healed, when I went back again I was told that the artist no longer was there due to his stealing from them what ever not my problem. Brian at first told me he would repair it at no cost when I went back again he told me he would charge me $50 to fix it. Naturally I was pissed. I said I would have to think about it, I felt why I should pay again for there mistake. Now as time passed not even a year the whole tattoo is screwed up the butterfly has no face, the colors faded big time the writing is not even readable. I don't trust them. I went to another artist and was told it would just get worse and I would need a cover up, I still want the same one but now it will be different and cost roughly $300!! I am pissed off. I will never ever go back to aces and eights. My daughter even went there and had problems with her piercings, which are now closed, my ex husband went there and even his tattoo is jacked. Please, Please don't go there it will just cause you grief Now I will have to get the money up to get it repaired and not have a half tattoo on my wrist!!! They changed the sign but the work is still probably shitty!! BEWARE read more
