Nate came out promptly to assess the site, and performed a risk assessment at a very reasonable cost (I got to walk the property with him while he did the assessment, and he taught me a lot about signs to look for with tree rot/weakness). I told him that after constructing a home, budget was a concern, and that I really needed to keep cost down if possible. Nate proceeded to triage the risk, denoting which trees were of imminent risk (only one or two), those of medium but not imminent risk, and those of low risk to keep an eye on. He sent along a few estimates, with each tree itemized so I could pick and choose what to get taken care of within my budget. The cost very reasonable. His crew made it out a week or two later, and they were extremely respectful of the property, professional, and swift. I was a bit delayed on making payment due to the aforementioned budgeting difficulties. Nate was understanding and patient with me. Eventually, there will be further work to be done to the surrounding forest to keep the land in good health, and my house at minimal risk, and I will be reaching out to Foxfire Tree Care again to get the work done.
