I'll give Trushar (Tony) one thing: he's quite the salesman…read more My grandma left me several pieces of her Brown Jordan furniture. It needed to be re-strapped and re-powder coated. "Tony" assured me that the previous owner (also coincidentally named Tony?) was the problem with All Patio furniture's reviews. He swore to me up and down that he is Indian and believes in karma and was raised right, blah blah blah. Because I am CLEARLY a terrible judge of character, I went with All Patio furniture. Trushar and Jovan (not really sure what his business title was) were both personable and seemed knowledgeable and said all the right things. He even offered to loan me some of his warehouse furniture. They were also going to redo several seat cushions for some teak pieces I had. They told me it would be a three week turn around. That was on July 1. Later that day, I noticed they hadn't taken one of the seat cushions to use as an example to redo the other seat cushions. I texted Trushar and asked him if he needed it. He didn't respond. About a week later, I realized there were four extra Brown Jordan chairs in my garage and asked him if he could redo those as well. He was accommodating and came a couple days later to pick them up. I paid him an extra deposit for those. He assured me that they were on schedule for a three week return of my furniture. 8/4, I texted to find out if they were finished. I did not get a response. 8/9 I texted again. His response was: "The furniture is due to be completed this coming week. Sorry been just little overwhelmed with Jovan having to take a leave of absence for a few months and then Jonathan (my warehouse manager) not being dependable. While I was taking care of the stuff with my dad. I am back as of this Tuesday and will be back to day to day." For a month, he had had my furniture and I believe hadn't even started it. When I asked him why he never kept me abreast of the progress, he told me "the phone works both ways". On 8/12 at 11:15PM he texted me to tell me they would be delivered the following week. THREE weeks after his promised delivery time. We had a text battle back-and-forth. I told him 8/19 would be fine, but after the back-and-forth and how untruthful and disrespectful he was to me, the last thing I wanted to see was his face. So he was going to send Jonathan (the unreliable shop manager) by himself and asked if my 18-year-old son would help him unload the furniture. I told him I would absolutely not be having my son help him and that he needed to hire somebody else to come with Jonathan to deliver the furniture. He refused to do that. On 8/20, I decided to look at the loaner furniture he gave me. It was done so poorly that I texted Trushar pictures of it and said to him that I didn't want any of my furniture to look like that. He said he would have them "do them again" to ensure that my furniture was done correctly. They were going to be done the next day. I texted for an ETA on the 21st. He said they would be delivered on the 25th. Texted for an ETA on the 25th and he said that they weren't going to be done in time to be delivered that day, so they would come on the 26th. Mind you, each time he promised he would be here, I would clear my day so I would be available for delivery. Again, shame on me. On the 26th, he wanted to confirm all of the pieces of furniture that I gave him and said "one last thing I need so I can match up the cushions that are all packed here and not tagged...Can you send me the pic of the cushion we left there so I can match it here on my end?" I texted him a picture of one of the cushions and did not get a response back. I asked when they would be delivered (remember he said they would be coming on the 26th). He said because it was such a big job, it would have to be done over two days: the 27th & 28th. I told him I was going out of town on the 28th and asked him if everything could just be brought on the 27th. Clearly, that was undoable. On SEPTEMBER 1st he texts me to tell me that because Jovan never took the sample cushion, they couldn't do them. Even though he told me they were all packed up. I reminded him that I asked him two months ago if he needed that cushion and I never got a response. He told me he had ordered all of the material and asked me if I wanted him to do the cushions. I declined. On September 2, they finally delivered my furniture, but had to take one of the lounges back because it had slits in the back of several of the straps where they connected to the frame. I was told it would be back to me later that day. Shockingly, it wasn't. It was delivered the next day. There were still some blemishes on one of the lounges. Trushar said he'd bring me some touchup paint for it and never did. Is it perfect? No. But I'm glad to have it back. And I'm even more glad to never have to deal with Trushar ever again. And if you are smart, you will steer very clear from All Patio furniture.
