This is a commercial restaurant supply store. And I LOVE THIS PLACE! If you entertain and you want dishes that hold up, Acemart is the way to go. Fancy dishes break and you end up wasting money. Here you get utilitarian kitchenware that holds up to wear and the test of time. The pricing is good too. Don't waste your money at other places, come here. read more

Have had multiple contacts and re-orders of fixtures from Steve and others at Ace Mart since my last review. I have to say Steve and the teams there are a pleasure to work with and on top of it. We will continue to use Ace Mart for our future needs of kitchen equipment. read more

Great service found everything I needed at that location it is a little tricky to get to since it's located off a access road

Recently purchased an induction stove top/oven & discovered a number of my pots/pans not conducive to flat surface stove top. After checking out at least four different stores i.e. hardware, kitchen specialty (Quarry), even PX on base, I found Ace Mart Restaurant Supply. What a blessing to find the size of sauce pan I needed (not forced to purchase an entire set of expensive cooking sized pans I don't need. The manager was very professional, friendly, good eye contact, explained product, and other staff were helpful as well. They provided a bag to place our purchased items. (*I went to a hardware store on North New Braunfels, yesterday & purchased a griddle, they didn't want to give me a bag, and they were rude). Continued Success! Magdalena read more

Drove 30 minutes here yesterday to buy some sheet pans. They were out of stock. The guy yesterday told me not to worry, I could pay for them, he would order them and they'd be in the next day by 9 am. I showed up today to pick them up...and was told the guy never ordered them even though I paid for them. The solution offered to me was a refund or drive 45 minutes to another location to get them. This is why local and small businesses are failing. Such a shame. read more

This place is a restauranteur's or a wannabe Food Network watching home cook's wet dream. They have all kinds of supplies such as 80 quart stock pots, knives, cutting boards, containers for food service--even popcorn machines. The store is clean and laid out very well. The folks here don't bug you to buy, and you can take your time shopping. There are commercial sinks (many lower than the lowest on the internet), flat top griddles, gas stoves, and refrigerators. Whether you are starting a food truck or full restaurant, come check out their prices, or swing by and get their 2015 full catalog, like I did. read more

They have quality commercial grade stuff at a "fair price" only thing is is the location isn't very reasonable for where I am at.

Shot glasses by the case? Sure, they've got that as well as industrial cleaning supplies, trash cans, cake plates, squirt bottles, etc etc etc and all accessible to the home chef as well as the professional folks. Whenever I need a no frills, solid piece of kitchen stuff like tongs or a strainer, I go here. The prices are good and I get a lot more options than a Williams-Sonoma or Sur La Table will offer me. Not that I don't love those places but sometimes I just want $5 tongs. I won't get designer colors but I'm OK with that. I want functional that can take a beating. Also, the staff here is super helpful and friendly. read more

You guys rock! I'm always amazed by the service and curtesy shown by the employees who work here, from help with selecting glassware to researching product availability, specs, etc at other stores. :) read more

I don't leave reviews often, but in this case I had to. I had the BEST experience here! Frankie helped me and his customer service is AMAZING! They didn't have exactly what I wanted, but found an alternative Immediately!! read more

I love the new store. Customer service is always good and they have customer appreciation day at lease once a month. I seem to find myself at the St Mary's location more then this one but it nice to spot at a brand new store. read more

Go to the st Mary's location if you need help with something. Service here is lacking badly. I've been waiting 20 minutes to have some items pulled. Sitting here watching employees walk in circles because the only person who can do it is on the register helping a long line of people. Never have this issue in Southtown but they were out of stock of the items I needed. read more

I love coming here for everything that I need for the three businesses that I manage and own. Every time I walk through those doors I am always greeted enthusiastically and positively. I am always offered help for every little thing that I need which is greatly appreciated because there are many times when I don't know exactly what I need and everyone who works there is willing and wanting to help out! I recommend this location to anybody who needs anything to do with bar, restaurant , service industry supplies. So a big thank you to everybody who always goes the extra mile to help me out when I walk through those double doors! read more

This is a wonderful facility with great service. I was greeted by Hugo immediately upon entering the store. I told him what I was looking for, and he escorted me around to show me the different options. Great selection, kind and friendly staff. Highly recommend. read more

IF YOU WANT TO GO HOME @ 2 p.m. LOCK YOUR DOORS @ 1:30 p.m.! Today, Saturday July28, at 2:57 I went to the Austin Highway location for glass pitcher for my beloved South Ice Tea--do we even have to say sweet? As I was slowly entering the store due to a text I was sending I was greeted by an employee saying "We close at 2." I said that is more like it. Your sign has a closing time at 5:30. I said for a second I was impressed by the extended hours. I said thank you and proceeded to do my business. Having been a food buyer for a co-op I lived in while attending graduate school in Austin, I knew my way around the store. I was approached by three employees asking me if they could help. A couple of them reminded me that they close at 2. How rude? This reminds me of employees sweeping and mopping under your feet at closing time at a restaurant. I have been in the food game for many years--managing restaurants from fast food to full service. This was among the most poor customer service I have experienced in a long time. This ranks with night shift people turning out the lights pretending they are closed. These employees need to be retrained on how to make sales. Money made at closing time goes to the bottom line the same as money paid at opening. I was looking up HQ to complain and snap! Guess what. This is the HQ store. This is INVOICE Number 12435252. read more

I needed a 4 quart measuring container for a recipe, and I wanted something with professional quality. I knew Ace Mart would be the place get it from. Ace Mart is awesome they have everything you need to open a restaurant from kitchen utensils, stoves, to cotton candy makers, from baker racks to dining room tables. Ace Mart they even has some of those giant toilet paper dispensers you see in the restrooms. I think spent over an hour looking, and dreaming of the day when I open my own "Rudy's Burrito House". A lot of the stuff in Ace Mart is made for restaurants or for caterers, but I definitely would use it in my kitchen. I found the what I needed, and more. The staff was really helpful, and courteous. The prices were very comparable to a lot of regular household things you would get from Target or Wal-Mart. I give Ace Mart Restaurant Supply 5 stars. This is where you start your restaurant. read more

Great place to get all your restaurant supplies. Most of their dinnerware is only in mass quantities, but that makes sense for the wholesale restaurant client. It would be nice if they also offered food products, I've encountered restaurant supply places in other cities that offer this, but that doesn't seem to be the case here in San Antonio. Otherwise, a good selection with good prices. Mission restaurant supply is also good. If you are at the Ace in Southtown, you can shop both. read more
