Compared to the Spirit Lake store, this Bomgaars is a bit small, inconsistently stocked, and sparsely shopped at least when I wandered in. I enjoy Farm and Home stores overall, as the selection is interesting and you never know what might be found. I did see something home-related that I liked, exchanged pleasantries at check-out, and was soon on my way into town.

I was in today looking for a plug in charger, a candy bar for the road, and anything else that might catch my attention. I did well on all 3 counts, but will have to wait for the catch my attention finds, as my suitcase is only so large and Gayle has her limits on my purchase preferences. My Wife Called and Dan said that shouldn't have happened and said he would 5$ in an envelope on his desk. About a month later I stopped in and remembered to ask about it he said it wasn't there so either I, my son or my wife had already picked it up which I knew was false. I said if it's not there then you must have a thief working in the store. What ever you do not buy an appliance in this store. We bought a reliance water heater with a six year warranty. It went bad almost exactly 1 year later. He instructed us to bring it in to the store. He then removed the serial # tags with rating plate and weather it was propane or natural gas. We found out from Reliance that b doing this. #1 its illegal and #2 it voids the reaming 5 years of warranty. I can guarantee a lot of people that hear this kind of underhanded crap will take there business elsewhere

Was unaware that this hardware store was here. I needed some special type of rivets for some…read moreleather work i was doing. Went to Rusts Western wear and was told to go to Hardware Hank's. So i did and yes they had exactly what I wanted. It's the kind of rivet that screws into a sleeve and they work great with leather. Great price also got 8 of them for 5.00. Excellent customer service. Glad this store is here. No more going to Sioux City for what I need. Thumbs up on this one.
