They greet you at the door and help you get what you need cheerfully, even if it is only a fifty cent item rather than going to the big box stores that force you to buy an entire pack of nuts and bolts. Their inventory of small but essential parts for the home and shop is impressive and there are rarely any empty bins. I have been using this store since 1975. Home Depot forced them to drop their lumber and building supply plus many other items but they were still able to hang on by selling the small hard to find things when you only need one or two parts. I never get tired looking for help in this store and I usually always get what I need. They will also order parts that they do not stock and they sell many paints and decorating supplies at lower prices than Home Depot or Lowes.

I returned with my can but didn't have the receipt. The man that originally sold me the wrong paint was the man I spoke with upon returning but since I threw my receipt away he refused to help me. Certainly frustrating but I understand the store has a policy so I'm not too upset about this fact. I then leave with my new white paint only to get home and put a third hue on my wall. I've now been sold the wrong paint twice by the same man. I return to correct the issue and am now told that he can't accept my return because I used some of the paint (maybe a half of a coffee mug's worth). This set off my protest of the store but I recently found out that man was no longer employed there so I thought I'd try it out again. On my next trip to the store I encountered another man who was incredibly rude so I've now decided that my protest will be permanent and I will not give them any more business until it's under new management. When our pipes burst, we went here for replacements. The plumber himself goes there, not only for jobs on our house but for his own. Everyone here demonstrates their knowledge and acts as a complete professional. They're warm, kind, fun, and the store is pet-friendly. We've picked paint for our house from here. They also have an adjoining gardening shop where we got pumps for our basketballs and my bike.
