He knew what the products could do inside out and even showed us a pictures of a job he did using an implement that he recommended. ( it cost us $1.99) we saw another friendly and approachable person working there. And our cashier was the tops. They truly appreciated our business. Oh, one item we were looking for and found I seriously doubt I'd ever find in the acres you need to walk around in the big box places. All in all it was a productive visit to a hardware store that carries everything that you'd want to find in a hardware store, including people who appreciate your business.

They carry the important things the local Walmart doesn't carry. The thing which is most irritating is the front cashiers spend too much time bullshit with each other instead of paying attention to business. I purchased- I forget, something around $30 and they have one of the most primitive Point of Sale systems still in use- I mean we're talking 1985 technology- one step above the old Visa/Mastercard swipe machines. So you've got to sign a receipt for your purchase- they keep the signature. Well they weren't paying attention and I walked out with their copy. They called me back- I said "No thanks I've got my receipt"- it wasn't until I got home I read "MERCHANT COPY" on the bottom. So I mailed it back to them to help their books with a note if the ladies would keep their yaps shut and pay attention to business this wouldn't have happened. OK- so you know the bad. Now it's time for the good. They've got quite the cross selection of electic goods that will cover 90% of most contractors and home owners needs. They've just opened an expansion for windows and doors- and it's a great selection. So considering overall, I'd say they're "reliable".
