We found a store employee who directed us where to go and then helped us pick out the right dehumidifier for our needs. They also have a pretty decent plant selection for and I left with a new plant too. Overall, good experience. We were in and out quickly and the employees were friendly and helpful in finding what we needed.

Went to Home Depot on Ohio Pike Cherry Grove to get Lawn and Garden center to get stuff for my…read moreyard. The Garden gates were suppose to be open at 8am got there at 8:20 the were not open so i had to walk to the main entrance get a cart get what I needed. I thought by the time I got what I needed at 9am the gate was still not open. So I had to push the heavy cart through the store. As I past the service desk I asked the lady there why the gates of the garden place was not open. She said they were short on help. I said that it was Spring time and it was crowded out there and asked her why there was so many workers standing around doing nothing. She said they didn't work in the garden center. I laughed then went to the main check outs at the other end of the store Nothing was open but the self checkouts and I waited in line with all of the rest of customers from the garden shop that had to do the samething. Now I said self checkouts tell me how do you checkout wall retainers and and boulder rocks will no scan stickers on them. So I asked the young girl trying to take care of 6 registered to look them up she had no idea what they were and how to find them. I had to explain to her what they were and point on the screen at what I had. That's why I told her they needed the garden open. Home Depot get worse week by week and the biggest part of the workers there could careless and customer service went out the window. Going to have to start going the extra mile and start shopping at Lowe's. But you know the big problemis Home Depot could careless. They will just put more ads on TV tell everybody how good it is there.

I had gone here in search of some plaster anchors and rather than selling me the more expensive anchors the very helpful clerk pointed me towards the $1 aisle where I found exactly what I was looking for. After asking me what my project for the day was the clerk took me throughout the store and helped me pick out all potentially needed items. The only drawback that I can see of this place is their hours. They close at an hour that would make a banker blush. When I have projects to do I'm typically doing them after my work hours (normal 9-5), and they close at 530 on Weekdays and 3P on Saturdays. That means if I'm working on a project I need to go directly from my work to their store, and hopefully there is no traffic. Very decent selection, and very helpful staff. I'm quite the hardware store fan, and my only other complaint with this store so far is that it's not Klingenberg's in Covington, but hey, maybe I'm biased.

Small hardware stores can sometimes have a cloud of testosterone in them that is so thick you can't see clearly. Finally, after promising to use my car only when really nessecary, I biked down there to get a few things. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the helpful attitude of the staff. Like most hardware stores, you aren't going to find yourself chatting up the staff or being stalked around the store like you are in the Gap, but I like that. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because, being a smaller store, their selection is slightly limited.
