I had an appointment here at Stone Wood Dental on Tuesday, June 4th with dentist, Kelly. When I…read morearrived to my appointment, I was approximately two minutes late. I arrived at 11:02 AM when I got there, she said give me one second. We are very strict about being late because I was a little late to my last appointment and she went to the back to see if it was OK that I was two minutes late to my already paid for and already scheduled appointment. She came back out and said that she would not be seeing me for my appointment for being two minutes late, and not only that but they were going to be taking me off of my dentist schedule and putting me on a completely new schedule with a different dentist that I had already stated I did not want to see also not to mention me and dentist Kelly already have a very extensive dental plan going on. She said that Megan would be in touch but three days later there is no contact from megan. I never even scheduled this appointment On June 4th, my appointment was supposed to be in two weeks, but they called me on June 3rd and said they have an opening the next morning if I could come and fill the spot for them. I told them yes that I would be there. I also had already paid over $200 for This appointment and then they treat me this way for being 2 MINUTES LATE. I have been going to this dentist for over a decade nearly 15 years and to be treated this way over being two minutes late is completely unorthodox and very Outrageous I cannot believe I am being treated this way. My feelings are very hurt. The tooth that I was supposed to be getting worked on has been giving me trouble for months and I even Complained that it was hurting So for them to treat me this way after even after saying that I have had tooth pain is completely Ridiculous not to mention that The treatment I was supposed to be getting done would take about two hours So they booked me to be there for two hours and because I was two minutes late they canceled the whole appointment canceled my whole dental plan and tried to get me to a new dentist knowing that I have dental pain going on right now. so what did y'all do for the next two hours? Just sit there and stare at the wall. This whole experience has just been an absolute joke and I will never be coming back to this dentist After being a loyal customer for 15 years. I do not recommend this dentist to Anyone unless you're willing to break the law and run through red lights and dodge in and out of traffic so that you are not two minutes Late to an appointment. And definitely do not pre-pay for any appointments unless you want your money stolen last minute. Dr. Steve Childress needs to examine his staff and make sure everything is being done properly because never in my 15 years of being a customer here has this ever been a problem. I am severely disappointed with this whole experience, and I hope to be compensated in full for this awful awful Experience do not come to this dentist unless you want your time to be played with and your money to be played with. This has been a complete joke and a waste of my time. Once again this was with dentist Kelly and her administrator also named Kelly. So if you do end up going here steer clear from them. But like I said I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Everyone at Heart of the Brazos was so kind, welcoming, and professional. The office is very clean and I felt well taken care of from the moment I checked in to the time I left after my procedure. Dr. Warren clearly explained how the procedure would go, what to expect afterwards, and what I needed to do once I got home. Thankfully the nurse who did my IV (I think her name was Darla) was extremely gentle and I didn't feel a thing. A couple days after my surgery I ended up getting dry sockets (which are very painful) and Dr. Warren was nice enough to see me that same day to relieve my pain and make sure everything would heal properly. I don't ever WANT to have oral surgery again but if I ever need it, Dr. Warren and Heart of the Brazos will definitely be my first choice.

This caused shifting of my front teeth. Tried to tell me it was my fault in about 5 different ways. He actually told me teeth move all the time. Really???? WHAT???? I have never had a dentist that was a bold face liar trying to cover up the damage he did. He even told me when he placed it in that the crown was sitting too high. Not only was it too high, it was too big. I was having another issue with it as well from the time he placed it in. These concerns were dismissed. He struggled to get it in. Its really sad when you put trust in people like this and they take no accountability. Now that the damage is done he wanted to send me to orthodontist to pay more money. I can see why their overall rating on here is a 2. These people need a lawsuit. Im going to get a second opinion and go from there. I would mention his name but I don't believe in smearing somebody's name but if my second opinion on what he did by a trusted dentist proves he was in the wrong, I most definitely will seek legal advice. I was almost immediately called to the back (waited about 3 minutes). Once I got to the back, I was asked a series of questions that gave the dental hygienist an idea of my dental background and naturally, my fear of the dentist came up. She went out of her way to explain every single detail of what she was doing, why it mattered, and what she was seeing as she did it. Thankfully, I had no cavities so I only received the cleaning but I could not have been more grateful. She was gentle on my teeth and chatted with me about random topics to keep me engaged and at ease. The treatment I received at this office by everyone, from the front desk to the actual dentist herself, was 100/10.
