I hired Accurate Productions for my daughter's wedding. They are organized, professional and responsive to clients. We were able to sign the contract and pay online. The bride and groom were sent a check list to fill out and had a pre-wedding meeting with Accurate Productions to make sure all the songs they wanted were played. All in all, they kept people dancing all night. The week of the wedding we had a venue change for the ceremony which Accurate was providing the sound for. We made a late decision to get a DJ for our wedding. Ben was our DJ, and he did an AMAZING job! Ben was really nice and professional, he had great communication with us and the other vendors, he did a great job keeping the reception moving along and communicating what was happening to our guests. The dance floor was completely packed, the music was excellent, and he really knew how to facilitate the party without trying too hard or being too loud like some DJs can be. Not only did they manage the music well, read the crowd and played to their liking, etc., but they also drafted a schedule of what was supposed to happen and when, and walked me thru what the bride and groom were supposed to do. Don't be tempted by the discount they offer if you pay in full because if you have to cancel due to COVID or any other reason they will try and keep half of what you have paid. I am an essential health care worker who had to cancel my wedding due to COVID. I am a born and raised Humboldt native and all of the vendors have returned the payments made and some have even returned the deposit due to the current situation with COVID. The most I had to pay to any other vendor was $100 non-refundable deposit. I called Accurate productions more than 30 days before having to cancel my wedding and they asked what I feel comfortable paying. I informed them $100-250. They said they are offering 50% back. When I didn't agree JJ set a phone appointment up to talk to Ben 8 days later. I reviewed the contract and it did not specify a refund policy and said to make arrangements 30 days prior to the date if there are any changes. That day of the phone appointment came and by midafternoon after no call I called them. JJ said he was given authority to make the final decision and would give back 50%. I did not agree and wanted to speak to the owner. JJ then tried to set another appointment days out which was unacceptable to me. A few hours later they called via 3 way call, called me a bully, and then said they would give me the refund to severe the relationship and to lose their phone number. I cannot believe this is how they would treat clients. I had even already referred other people to them that have booked them for weddings. I will never recommend them to anyone in the future and good luck to anyone trying to get a refund if they have to cancel due to COVID. read more
