I went with AAA because of their reputation…read more However, 1star is for problem with AAA scheduling system where you can only have 2 appointments at a time and if you're only available on weekend you'd be lucky if you can schedule driving lesson once a month. And with a cancellation days before lesson and lack of prioritization for cancelled schedule, you're looking at driving 1 hour lesson in 2 month period which is what my son is experiencing. If there's another cancellation it'll be 3 months since last lesson. At this rate it may take a year to complete a driving lesson. If you're available during weekdays, you'd probably be fine. If you're not I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind 1 month between driving lessons. I'm trying to get a refund.

Well after not being able to drive for 3 years after my brain surgery i decided to give driving a shot with the "driving program" at a local hospital which turned out to be a SCAM because the "therapist" never even took me behind the wheel after a 6 month program (BEFORE THE DRIVE TEST). So at the time my parents helped me find this place , a place that would work with someone with a disability and it just so happened to turn out that Jim Gleason pulls up and we had a little reunion with my parents after literally not seeing Jim since I was like 17! I am 40 now. Anyway point here is that Jim is SO patient and motivating and more than that he's understanding . Just wanted to boast about this man because this is the 2nd time in a span of around 23 years that he helped me regain my freedom , confidence , a job and because of him I am able to drive to work church or where ever I need to be! I understand that traffic sometimes happens, but every time? 2. Related to the 1st above, I can get over the tardiness. But then they would be back from the lessons anywhere from 15min to 10min early all 3 times. If you are going to be late, at least give the full 2hrs. 3. He took her to pump gas twice. I don't know of a driving school that teaches how to pump gas, let alone twice. I'm sure it wasn't a lesson, but rather just not being prepared with a full tank of gas before the lesson 4. Was asked for payment up front on the last lesson because he needed gas and didn't have money... 5. We found out that he had asked the student to be in the second from left lane at a light that was a straight only, not a left-turn lane. He then told her to move over and turn left when it was green, having to cut into the lane with other cars. I don't know about you, but I hate it when people make the wrong turn and then push their way in because of their mistake. Just go straight and turn around somewhere 6. It was weird to see the "instruction vehicle" had darker than the CA legal 70% tint on the front side windows. Not a good example if the driving school's vehicle has equipment violations...
