She doesn't throw out a bunch of big accountant words to make you think she is smart. She doesn't have to because it is obvious she is brilliant. It's just nice when people are comfortable in themselves so they don't have to put on heirs. She has always been great at giving me good tax estimates and advice during the year so I don't get stuck with a huge bill at the end of the year and so I don't end up loaning the IRS a ton of money throughout the year. I try to always give the benefit of the doubt, but it's October, and I am still trying to get a response from Hauk Kruse & Associates for my tax return from last year. This is a tax return that I filed almost nine months ago. When I have reached out it has often taken weeks for a reply (2 weeks once, 4 weeks another time 2.5 months an additional time). Usually I have to re-call the firm in order to get a response. I would set up a conference call with the firm, and they wouldn't call. I was told my return would be done by the end of the day, and I would have to call a week later having heard nothing. I was not informed of fees I would incur from both the company and from the IRS for filing an extension. That might be common knowledge to most people, but I pay a firm to do my return because I'm not as knowledgeable about taxes. I do know that I would like to be informed of a fee before I am charged for something. I tried time and time again to give this company opportunities to change my opinion. They just never called me or emailed me when they said they would... for almost 9 months. I would love to be proven wrong in my assessment of this company, but that would require a returned email or phone call in a timely manner
