Instead of discussing the situation with me, professionally, DEANNE blocked all of my phone calls and ignored my emails. When contacting her partner Jo Ann she seemed interested in trying to resolve the issue but during the course of three weeks Jo Ann came up with a plethora of reasons why she couldn't attend scheduled phone calls and scheduled meetings. We did not have words they did not ask me to stop calling. They just scheduled meetings and then didn't attend. Now I've been blocked and ghosted by both of them. This is not the end of my pursuit. I highly recommend if you're using them now to find another tax service or a real COA firm and if you're new and are consider using them in the future, this is your warning. They do not even hold a CPA's or tax license in the state of Colorado they are not registered with The Department of Regulatory Agencies. They merely hold a certificate with the federal government.

The result was a comprehensive estate planning package, multiple trusts, asset transfers into trusts, beneficiary adjustments, etc. He kept me informed throughout the process and delivered exactly what I needed. I had it reviewed by my tax accountant and my financial advisor and they commented "wow the most comprehensive" they have seen. The office staff is always cheerful and helpful as well. Pleasure to do business with and I don't really love working with attorneys. Strongly recommend.

He did not explain in detail why monies should be moved to various accounts and exactly when. As a result, medicaid and tax look back periods were missed and the folks ended up paying more in taxes than they should, and missed deadlines when the law changed on look back periods. When he created the trusts he copied one document to the other and didn't correct all the name and beneficiary changes. I had to review the documents in his office and found all the errors. He blamed it on his staff, but that is shoddy. He's not cheap! We ended up finding out all the flaws to the trusts on our own because he was not available for follow up consultation. He's perfectly intelligent, but the way he explains things to a novice is too fast and without the context needed for comprehension. There was no attendant documentation to help us through the process either, which seems like it could have been created for many of his clients without having to be customized.

Throughout the entire process, Colin and Emily worked tirelessly on my behalf and helped me successfully resolve my case with a favorable outcome. What stood out most wasn't just their legal knowledge--it was how genuinely they cared about me as a person. They were incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding of the debilitating anxiety I was experiencing. I never felt like just another case; they cared about both the outcome of my case and my well-being. As a young woman living 2,000 miles away from my family, having a legal team I could truly trust gave me an immense sense of security during one of the most difficult periods of my life. Thank you both for everything you did for me. I sincerely hope I never need legal representation again, but if I do, there is no question who I'll be calling. I wholeheartedly recommend Colin, Emily, and the entire team at Ram Law.
