It was very convenient to get here via the Métro 9 line where I got off at Porte de Saint-Cloud. From the station, it was just a short walk over to the stadium. The process of getting in was a very well streamlined process. Please note that while I was able to bring in a bottle of water, I had to throw away the cap. Finding my seat was very easy as there were signs posted everywhere. The place was rocking when France equalized at 3-3. Unfortunately, the host team eventually lost to Spain in extra time. The tour is excellent, they allow you to self pace through many areas of the stadium; including some locker rooms, luxury suites, and even the field itself. Upon arrival we were met but an angry bouncer whose only greeting was a gruff YEAH, EVERYONE HAS A RESERVATION! GET TO THE BACKNOF THE LINE! There were 150-200 people in line and no one was getting in. We paid nearly 500 dollars for our table. We were dressed very well because the tickets said to dress IN YOUR VERY BEST. The line was full of trash dress and a much younger crowd. We are middle aged. This bouncer spoke to us like we were in high school and trying to sneak into something. Do not ever waste your time with this fake event. It was a scam. I believe everyone in that line was probably scammed out of between $150-$500. Unprofessional to say the least. I intend to blast this hotel on every outlet imaginable.

Nosy nosy Jana wanted to scout out all the private passages (they're locked with a gate), the über $$$$ Hôtel Particulaire and Terrasse, all the nice restaurants and such. It's so much fun walking hills and spotting all the peekaboo views once one gets to the top. The historic farming windmills, the cobblestones and narrowed small lanes, the kids at school holding hands in pairs, headed to a school field trip. It's all quite provincial in Montmartre, and it has come to be one of my favorite places in Paris to walk. Simply like Notting Hill, north of Hyde Park. It touches me, walking about. Great feeling of small town living.

I do love BBQ and the chicken was delicious but the ribs were quite challenging and I couldn't finish them. I had to use my mobile phone through most of the meal because I just couldn't see anything. The games are the best part of the entire evening, so if you can hold out through the uneven food and the incoherent narrative that starts the show, it gets better. Fortunately we got a discount, paying full price would have been even harder to swallow.

The room was gorgeous and the view was great and the food wonderful as well. We had a menu item and a prefix. The quiche and the duck confit were both great and the mango tart was delicious

Intimate, in a large private mansion, with a wonderful restaurant…read more Tickets are 20 Euros (17 Euros for seniors), there is also a handheld audioguide for an additional 3 Euros. Book in advance on the website - musee-jacquemart-andre.com. You can arrive and buy tickets, but it can get crowded and they do manage the number of tickets sold each day. NOTE - plan on dining at Le Nelie for lunch (or afternoon). We visited while they were sharing "Masterpieces from the Borghese Gallery" and these were truly masterpieces. Even a philistine would recognize the masters who painted these artworks. There were famous works from Caravaggio, Rubens, Botticelli, Raphael, Titian and Bernini, plus a host of lesser-known artists. (Not to mention the permanent art collection, which has great painters at all times.) I will say that the lighting wasn't ideal in all the rooms. This is a mansion - a residence, so not designed as a museum to exhibit the art. Most works were illuminated by single overhead spotlights that created bright highlights on the paintings. I had to view some from different angles to be able to fully view and enjoy some of the art. Luckily since they limit the number of visitors, there is enough time and space to find good viewing angles. Being a relatively small museum, you can see an amazing amount of art within a short time. The building itself is worth admiring as well. (Ask a docent about the hydraulic wall that dropped into the basement to open the main ballroom for large parties of up to 1,000 people.) The double staircase and the mural behind it are particularly beautiful and interesting. The museum has regular changes of the contents, so check to see what is being featured when you are planning your visit. Even if there is no special exhibit, the Museum itself and the permanent exhibits are worth the visit. If you are fluent in French, there are special VIP visits possible. Also - they hold actual Opera performances on some evenings - until mid-June 2025, they are performing Verdi's La Traviata and Rigoletto (usually on Saturday nights, occasionally on other evenings). Our trip didn't align well, otherwise I would have definitely attended - seeing a classical opera in a private mansion designed for large groups would be a rare treat. We dined there at Le Nelie - a fabulous restaurant. No reservations, so queue early for the 1000 opening (we got in line a 0940 and were in the first 10 people to enter the restaurant). We started with Kir Royales (and had seconds with our mains). I had the Carpaccio de boeuf which was beautiful as well as savory. The beef was thinly sliced and accompanied by toast with tapenade, wonderful little button mushrooms, large caper berries, and potatoes gratin dauphinois. My wife had the Salad Nelie, which was a mised salad with two different salmon pieces (smoked and marinated in dill), plus potatoes and vegetables. For dessert, my wife (like most patrons) chose the "Patisserie au choix" - you go with your server to the dessert display and choose what pastry dessert you would like. They then serve the dessert to your table. I went with the "Coupe 2 parfums" a lighter pairing of Guajana dark chocolate and vanilla with Bourbon bean infusion ice creams.

Its definitely worth an hour of your time. But if you don't have the pass, the €8 regular admission seems seems a little hefty.

A few friends and I had a chance to recently visit this treasure of a museum and I was reminded for the umpteenth time as I gazed at the casts and replicas of the treasures of medieval and modern architecture that the French have many reasons to be proud of their heritage and patrimony. An unexpected pleasure of visiting this museum is the different views of the Eiffel Tower that are afforded as you climb floors of the museum. Well worth a visit, and can be well visited within 2-3 hours.

Compared to the surroundings in this area prices are really fair. 14€ for a Mojito is still a lot, but this is Paris. Staff is super friendly and you have a terrific view over the city, with the Eiffel Tower being right in the middle! Paris is not really known for making great Cocktails, but the Mojito we had here, was really fresh and tasted great! I would recommend to come here for a drink after dinner, as they only serve snacks (mainly Charcuterie and Cheeses).
