I…read morefound good reviews for Dr. Turlington of Seashore Eyecare, so I called to beg for an appointment. The receptionist was so pleasant, and within minutes, said they could work me in that afternoon. I was then actually a little worried--if they could work me on, maybe no one goes there! I needn't have worried. I arrived to find a bustling, friendly, high-tech optometrist office. Clearly well-run, I was called back within 5 minutes. Dr. Turlington could not have been more professional and attentive. Within a half an hour I had been seen, diagnosed, and sent on my way with clear instructions and 2 prescriptions. And they saw me again today just to be sure I was healing properly. And again, it was all positive. The friend who drove me was so impressed with the selection of glasses that she ordered 3 pairs while I was being seen! I've never written a review on Yelp, but was so impressed, and grateful, that I decided this would be my first!

We sat and waited. Four people were at the desk working on the computer and we were ignored. Finally I asked if we needed to make an appointment to come back and I was told "that would probably be a good idea" since they were busy with computer problems. I called them back when I realized I never got our prescription back. I was told to "look in my car" since they gave it back to me. They did not. Returned a week or so later. Since they had lost the prescription, they said they were "calling to get it". We ordered his glasses and were told they would call when they came in. After three weeks passed I called today. I was told the glasses were never ordered since they did not get the prescription from the provider. I asked why they did not call them back or at least call me and I would get it myself! I was told "mistakes happen" in a sarcastic tone. My husband is still without glasses. Unbelievable.

Dr Singh jumped right in to find what caused the blindness in my one eye, and he prevented me from going blind in my good eye. Dr Singh makes you feel confident leaving all your ophthalmology care to him!! He always has your back! I had to have a few injections directly into the scelera of my eye, and I was thinking I'd faint dead away but I never even felt the needle one bit! It was a breeze! Dr Sing is so very experienced that he always knows what he is doing and the how to perform all procedures painlessly. He has a wonderful personality that makes you just love him! All policies have this coverage just like all women get a free yearly exam. This went into effect in 2014. It is now 2017 and the staff still had no idea and thought that vision coverage is just covered under separate policies. We had to send over the explanation of benefits and star beside where it states this to have them understand. It's frustrating enough when you pay over $1000 a month for good family health insurance but then go to a doctors office whose staff does not even know what is covered under the affordable care act. The staff wanted to act like we were the idiots! Don't waste your time with these guys! Go somewhere that has educated employees!
