Ally was extremely patient explaining all of the different prices and options that I may need for our special day. She helped turn what could have felt super stressful into the most easy breezy process & made me feel as if everything would be absolutely taken care of, in which it was. So so happy we went with this company for all of our wedding needs. If you have an upcoming event, you'll want to book this company!!

Their prices were fair and reasonable. Everyone I talked to was pleasant, professional, and well versed in all the different rental options, helping to demystify the process. On my wedding day, they worked seamlessly with my caterer to deliver and pick everything up on time. It's no wonder they came highly recommended by a number of local caterers. I would highly recommend them for any of your rental needs.

From our free tasting, when we sat down and were presented with a table full of delicious hors d'oeuvres and mains, we knew his company had the cooking chops. Within ten minutes of talking to him, we also knew he had the experience to pull it off. His prices were the real clincher--I dare you to find a better priced wedding caterer in CT. Trust me, I tried. He offers one flat rate for everything, with service and almost every rental item I needed included. He also offered an open bar package that defies reason. With such a reasonable price for a caterer, my parents were worried it would be a disaster, but they were eating their words later. We had an over-the-top delicious cocktail hour and a beautiful buffet dinner with the best wedding food we've ever had. There is nothing his team cannot do. I wanted an Asian-inspired salmon. They gave me a moist, grilled, glazed salmon that I still think about. I wanted a white vegetable lasagna for my vegetarian friends. They gave me a decadent lasagna. I asked for cocktail shrimp. For a small fee, they brought out platters and platters of the most enormous cocktail shrimp I've ever seen. I've gotten so many compliments on the food after the wedding. Even the two most discerning and honest food critics in my life, my mom and my mother-in-law, had only glowing things to say. The whole night ran smoothly, as Nick's team tirelessly worked behind the scenes in a tight kitchen space to ensure my guests had everything they needed at the exact time they needed it. His waitstaff were efficient and professional. His bartender won over our friends with his awesome sense of humor. At the end of the night, they packed up a box full of leftovers that we took to our Airbnb, and we finally got to eat our amazing dinner. Those leftovers lasted us another week after the wedding, and I was so sad to eat the last bit, knowing we'd never get to eat our wedding food again. This review is getting overly long, but my point is, DO hire them for your wedding or any other event. You won't regret it.

I was planning my small wedding without a wedding planner since we were paying for everything out…read moreof our own pockets and wanted to find a one-stop-shop for music and pictures, and was happy when I got in touch with Mike. Initially, he was personable and thorough and made us feel good about working with him. He worked with our budget and created a custom package that was not offered on the website. I thought, "wow, how nice!" but was quickly led down a road of non-communication, ignored emails, ignored texts, and a dismissive attitude. Mike was very responsive and helpful when we first inquired about his services. He answered all our questions thoroughly and even created a custom bundle deal that sounded perfect for our needs. However, after we paid the non-refundable deposit, communication became difficult. He backtracked on a few things he had previously assured us would be no problem. Ultimately, he did follow through on what was promised, but only after I had to remind him using screenshots of our earlier conversations. One of the more frustrating aspects was trying to get him to send proof of insurance directly to our venue coordinator. I reached out multiple times via email and text, but didn't receive a response until he contacted me about the remaining balance. I explained that I couldn't pay until the coordinator received the documents directly from him, as requested. He initially texted them to me instead, and when I reiterated the need for direct email delivery, he claimed my emails had gone to his spam folder. Ironically, he sent me a screenshot showing the email in his inbox, not spam. Six days before the wedding, I reached out to confirm some final details. When I didn't hear back, I followed up the next day and expressed my frustration. His response was that I was creating the issue, which felt dismissive. He then called to clarify, saying that things can get misinterpreted over text -- which may be true, but it also highlighted why he prefers phone calls, where there's no written record. Planning a wedding is incredibly personal and emotional, and vendors play a huge role in how smoothly things go. Leading up to the big day, I felt uneasy and unsure about Mike's reliability. I actually wrote this part of the review before the wedding itself, because I wanted to capture my honest experience without being influenced by how things might turn out. I'm hopeful everything goes beautifully, but I felt it was important to document the journey as it happened. As for the actual day: Mike was great. He played all the music we loved. The photobooth was great, although the operator of it didn't seem to have a clue. The person setting up the photobooth was late, and actually got into a road rage incident with my husband, little did he know at the time. Bottom line: I would recommend Mike for your event. Just make sure you get everything in writing to eliminate any confusion for either of you.

When I say Todd put on an absolute clinic would be an understatement. From smooth ceremony coordination, making sure the day ran smoothly, and then of course running that dance floor like no one's business. He turned a medium sized side room at Branford House in Mystic into a club experience with how he managed the lighting. This wasn't over the top - some light sticks and a bunch of uplights, but they were tastefully synced and programmed. And the music - he was pulling out all the stops even during dinner, dropping throwbacks and getting people singing in between bites across all age ranges. It's not like he peaked early either, he kept it going strong the entire night. Did I mention his contagious smile and upbeat attitude? This makes all the difference on a potentially crazy day - you can't help but feel relaxed around him. Plus the humor he peppers throughout the day, you'll know what I mean once you book him. You better get on that now, this man does 80 weddings a year with how much demand he's built up over the years. Don't wait or your date might already be taken!
