My dad always recommended these guys but being a normal child and not listening to my dad I made a big mistake going to the dealership where they tried to rip me off. Called Access and not only were they very reasonably priced but they also took my AAA discount (you get a $100 a year for keys) at time of payment which in the past I've had to fill out forms with AAA and never got the discount. They were fast, friendly , and professional. Highly recommended read more

Shawn was working with my partner over messaging to get a key cut. Shawn's response time was great. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We were sent to go and bring the key to be cut since my partner was working and Shawn communicated with me swimmingly and was very professional and efficient. We arrived to the place of business and were pleasantly surprised to find an incredible garden as well. Shawn is a fantastic locksmith & horticulturist! Was so impressed with the many talents Shawn had. He had our key cut and put together in 10 mins flat. We walked the park nearby and his garden. You should run a locksmith business and a produce booth, because we'd bring business to both! His prices were extremely reasonable as well! And he accepts Zelle & Venmo among other payment options. Which is fantastic! Thanks so much for being so awesome! We will be back for any locksmith needs and may have to take your offer up on gardening tips! read more

An honest businessman and amazing locksmith. Wanted to duplicate a car key as backup and Shawn came through. He explained what was needed and answered all of my questions. Price range was very reasonable ($60-80) compared to others ($100-220). Highly recommend if you're looking for a lock smith. read more

My husband and I have called these guys several times since first coming across them in January of 2019. He communicates well, shows up when he says he's gonna show up, gives us good tips and advice about future possibilities of keys being lost. Keep his info, because he's worth it! read more

Shawn was a miracle worker! The steering wheel locked on my daughter's car and it wasn't just a simple fix like jiggling the steering wheel while turning the key. It wouldn't budge. The key wouldn't turn in the ignition and the security system had actived. I had a mobile mechanic come out to look at it and he said he was going to charge me $360 on top of the $60 that he charged just to come look at it. His recommendation was to change the ignition. I'm so glad that I had a mechanic friend recommend just calling a locksmith. Sean responded right away to my request for a quote through Yelp. He offered the lowest price, he said he could be there within a couple hours, and he showed up when he said he would. And even though it was more of a challenge than anticipated he hung in there and got it done. Turns out the key was so worn you couldn't even tell where the cuts were at...it actually looked like it had been filed down. He went above and beyond and only charged $20 over the original quote...all of which he kept me informed of along the way. I was so happy I wanted to give him a hug! I refrained but thanked him profusely and figured a review was the best thanks possible! Lol. read more

I came to Shawn with an old lock that had a piece of broken key in it. It became more complicated when I found out it was part of a master key system. Shawn was patient and communicative and charged a fair price for the repair and re-key. read more

Shawn is the best. I called him in a panic on a Saturday afternoon when I lost my car keys, and he came out to help within two hours. I called a few other places to compare rates and he was not only the most affordable, but also the one who was able to help on the shortest notice. Highly recommend. read more

Shawn was the best! I needed a spare key for my new used car(because I tend to lose them). While others couldn't help me or their prices were too high, Shawn new exactly what I needed. Even though he had to order in the blank it only took a couple of days to get me on my way. I would definitely use Shawn again & recommend him to others. read more

I just had my car serviced and did not put the only key I have back on my key ring, I stopped at the grocery store and when I get back to the car I can't find the key. After dealing with my emergency road service for hours I finally got the car unlocked but still no key. I finally contacted Access Plus Lock and Key and I couldn't be happier. They met me at the car, were on time, made me two keys on the spot (I paid for an extra one), they went over everything with me, and gave me a master key to use if I ever need to make copies. Fast, courteous, competent at a fair price. I highly recommend these folks. read more

Shawn is amazing. When I first contacted him, he gave me advice on how I might solve the problem myself without asking for anything in return. Knowing he wasn't going to rip me off was a huge relief, so I decided to just get him to do the task rather than me buggering around with it for hours. He was on time, efficient, professional, and charged LESS than he quoted (and significantly less than his competitors.) He's my go-to guy from now on. He should be yours, too. read more

Great locksmith! Shawn was very responsive, thorough and quick. I appreciated his friendliness and DIY tips for future projects. Will definitely use him again. 5 stars! read more

can't say enough thank yous to Shawn... thanks to his knowledge, I was able to save $200 by simply removing the lock cylinder from the vehicle that I needed a keyfob key made for, when I had no keyfob key to copy.. tomorrow I will bring him the lock cylinder from the driver's door and he will make a key then I can program it once I get back home and voila I will be able to start my vehicle for the first time in 8 months! read more

Super nice, super fast, super reliable. Did amazing work for a fraction of what others were charging. Thank you Shawn! You were great!!

Lost my key to my mailbox he cane and replaced it within 24 hours. Super fast and handy

Shawn B. just gave me perfect service! * We agreed on a low price before he visited me (through Yelp's request a quote feature; he was the best deal of all those responses). Charge in person was exactly what we agreed beforehand; no up-charge in person * He originally scheduled to then come visit me within 30min. I had to re-schedule for the next day (because of me, not him), and he was perfectly prompt for the subsequent agreed reschedule time * He opened my car within 5 min (with no damage) * He gave me good info on why my year/make of car is known to have difficulty with locks wearing out. He also gave me quotes on himself at a later separate time fixing the worn out door lock (supposedly cheaper than dealer or most auto shops). I might take him up on that! read more

If you are looking for an inexpensive and very fast key made for your car, LOOK NO FURTHER! Shawn arrived in no time, and made 2 keys for me and I am on a fixed income. He was very understanding and kind. A good guy and businessman, very professional. I called a ton of places and Shawn has the best prices! He even offered to program my key fob for me! A good experience and will save his info for a friend, relative or stranger. Some of these key places charge a small fortune...At Access Plus Lock and Key you will not be disappointed with the price and time. read more

Shawn does great work and was able to help diagnose my key FOB issues. He offered great rates and communicated through the entire process.

Shawn from Access Plus Lock & Key was on time, stayed within his quote and managed to remove and replace a " challenge to crack open" mailbox lock which makes me feel good about purchasing an expensive mailbox. I chose APL&K not because it was the least expensive quote but because he told me what would be done after giving the model of mailbox, lock description and what needed to be done. I received other quotes that started with lower rates but would place a disclaimer of charging more even with specific information. Shawn was up for the challenge and did with a positive attitude. I would recommend him. read more

I am extremely happy after working with access plus lock & key. I lost the keys to my Honda Fit and I spoke to different locksmiths on yelp for a quote. many of them were over shooting asked me for anywhere from $350-$500. Access plus lock and keys quoted me at $200-225 and they came to my location to replace I was so grateful for getting my key fixed at a reasonable price and it was done quickly and easily I would definitely work if in the off chance I lose my keys again! read more

Shawn's the best! Will definitely use him for everything going forward. He gave me a quote within 10 min. Was on time with his arrival. I lost my car key yesterday, and I was feeling desperate this morning, had called several places and received some very high estimates by phone and message from various locksmiths. I sent an email via yelp to 6 or 7 businesses and the first and fastest reply came from Shawn, not only that but the most reasonable estimate, and even better, he could be here within an hour to an hour and a half. He was right on time and got my key made quickly even though there were additional problems. He really saved me today! Earlier my friend was taken by ambulance since I couldn't drive him with no key. I was stressing out and Shawn was absolutely great at what he does. I highly recommend him! Thank you Shawn! I forgot to get a card, but I will recommend you if anyone needs a locksmith! read more
