The job was still not done so he returned the next evening, after 5:00pm and stayed until midnight. He also used some of my tools and took them with him. They have not been returned. The job was still not done and he had tightened, loosened, pounded on,T and jerryrigged so many things (including the springs) that the manager and another man came the next day and stayed 2 hours to fix the problems made by the first man. After they left, the garage door and the track were popping and cracking every time I put it up or down. I lubricated them and it seemed to get somewhat better. Two months later the door is very loud again and they sent Quick Garage repair to fix the problem. They fixed the problem that I had with the garage door screen, that runs in the same track, but said that I NEED NEW SPRINGS. The Cowtown guys, that put in my new garage door opener, had adjusted my springs when they were working on my door. Now the Quick Garage Repair guys, that were sent to fix the continuing problems, said that I need new springs and, at my request, would only adjust the springs that are there for $175+. The springs were fine when I got the new opener but they would not take responsibility to tweak the setting because it was not on the invoice, so not under warranty for repair. I could explain in more detail but it might take 3 days to read. This is the first time that I have written a negative review so believe me when I say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I thought I would get a second opinion and called Precision Garage Door because they have replaced my door in the past and helped me with an older garage door system. Carlos Jordan came out and in five minutes fixed my problem. I stood there shocked. I was preparing myself for him to try to sell me a new system or tell me that I needed hundreds of dollars worth of repairs. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They also replaced a bad bearing, and noticed, after they had matched my existing spring and put in the exact replacement, that the previous installer had used the wrong spring! So they calculated the exact spring I needed, and took out the new one they had just put in and put in a new one of the correct size. They also lubricated both the single door, and also my double garage door right next to it, so they are all operating quietly and efficiently now. One of the springs had broken. This was on a Sunday, and Todd said he would be there Monday morning. I asked for at least 30 minutes so I could get to the house to let him in. Todd texted me this morning with an arrival time with a 10 minute window. He then texted me when he was on his way. And he arrived on time. Todd was extremely professional, very nice and focused on getting the job done. He replaced the spring, discussed with me the condition of the door, and then lubricated all of the guide wheels. I was impressed with Todd's work, but more importantly, I was extremely impressed with Todd's desire to keep my up to date on the progress, from the minute he received the job order to completion. And the price of repair was incredibly fair.
