It took them 3 days/nights to replace my old garage door opener. He arrived after 4:00pm ( that's…read moreok) and stayed until after 10:00pm (not ok). The job was still not done so he returned the next evening, after 5:00pm and stayed until midnight. He also used some of my tools and took them with him. They have not been returned. The job was still not done and he had tightened, loosened, pounded on,T and jerryrigged so many things (including the springs) that the manager and another man came the next day and stayed 2 hours to fix the problems made by the first man. After they left, the garage door and the track were popping and cracking every time I put it up or down. I lubricated them and it seemed to get somewhat better. Two months later the door is very loud again and they sent Quick Garage repair to fix the problem. They fixed the problem that I had with the garage door screen, that runs in the same track, but said that I NEED NEW SPRINGS. The Cowtown guys, that put in my new garage door opener, had adjusted my springs when they were working on my door. Now the Quick Garage Repair guys, that were sent to fix the continuing problems, said that I need new springs and, at my request, would only adjust the springs that are there for $175+. The springs were fine when I got the new opener but they would not take responsibility to tweak the setting because it was not on the invoice, so not under warranty for repair. I could explain in more detail but it might take 3 days to read. This is the first time that I have written a negative review so believe me when I say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

HORRIBLE experience with technician Victor Gonzalez - high pressure rip off attempt…read more This company installed my garage door and serviced it twice. Then they sent Victor Gonzalez, who immediately tried to screw me over on a simple spring replacement. He opened at over $1,300, dropped to around $1,100 when I pushed back, and finally floated ~$700 after I kept rejecting his nonsense. Classic bait and switch pricing... start absurdly high, "negotiate" down so the still-inflated number feels like a deal. I told him no, twice. Clear. Direct. On the third attempt he kept pushing, so I made it crystal clear I wasn't playing games and he needed to get out of my house. He still harassed me after I shut it down lingering in front of my house, arguing, refusing to take the repeated "no" for an answer. On top of the shady in home sales tactics, the company records phone conversations without any notification. And their website reviews? They display as five stars while the actual ratings are one star. Straight up deception.

They also lubricated both the single door, and also my double garage door right next to it, so they are all operating quietly and efficiently now. They were on time, also, friendly, efficient, and really cared about doing the job right, which seems to be so rare today! Thanks guys, I will be using you for any future garage work!

R&T Garage Doors deserves more than 5 Stars. The work was ordered, and Todd, the owner called me…read morealmost immediately to discuss when he could be out and what the issue was. One of the springs had broken. This was on a Sunday, and Todd said he would be there Monday morning. I asked for at least 30 minutes so I could get to the house to let him in. Todd texted me this morning with an arrival time with a 10 minute window. He then texted me when he was on his way. And he arrived on time. Todd was extremely professional, very nice and focused on getting the job done. He replaced the spring, discussed with me the condition of the door, and then lubricated all of the guide wheels. I was impressed with Todd's work, but more importantly, I was extremely impressed with Todd's desire to keep my up to date on the progress, from the minute he received the job order to completion. And the price of repair was incredibly fair. It isn't often that one needs garage door repair, but I can tell you that anytime I need help, or any of my neighbors need help, I'm giving them Todd's phone number.
