I had tested positive for HPV, the specific strain being one of high risk for cancer-this was discovered on a brief stint living out of state so it was caught by another dr. I wanted my Pap smear done every year as to keep an eye on it, but Dr Madan insisted it was unnecessary, that I should stick to the every 3 year protocol. This never sat well with me. Fortunately I switched jobs shortly after, and went to a different Dr who gladly gave me a Pap smear. Turns out I had cervical cancer. Needless to say, I think that was extremely negligent care to refuse me one in the first place.

I've been going to TLC nearly 2 years. During that time, I took a 6 month "break", as I live an hour and a half away and it just wasn't feasible at the time. That was a mistake I will never make again. 3 months in that break, I slept wrong and the back pain began again and nothing gave me relief. I thought I'd be "safe" to go to a place 5 minutes away 5 months into the "break" and I was very wrong and that "other chiropractor" messed me up more than I was. When I started going back to TLC 6 months after the "break" I was in excruciating pain. My sciatic nerve was radiating pain in a way I've never felt before. My toes on my left side went completely numb, as well as my calf. I could only get around in a wheelchair and I had NO comfort at all. It was the worst pain I've ever felt. (Which is bad considering I've had 2 csections to recover from!) I started 2x a week and by the 5th visit, I could finally walk with less pain. By visit 8 or so, the numbness was completely gone and I felt almost back to normal. Dr. Jason is the ONLY chiropractor I will trust to adjust me and my children. He's gentle. He focuses on the problem and not on trying to get everything "aligned". You will not leave in more pain than when you walk in. At least, I have never hurt more after a visit.
